Right! 😂 well I just fixed mine. 1. press and hold the sat button until everything lights up. 2. press and hold both home button and guide button until you hear three beeps. 3. go to your receiver box and press the system info button and then lastly all you do is press and hold the sat button again until you hear three beeps. walla!

Hi...interesting video. I went through all the steps for my Vizio TV, but although I tried all the codes (1 through 14) I did not get my Volume and Mute buttons to work. Also, the Power button doesn't work either. It doesn't turn the TV on or off. Any suggestions?
Good job. I have been able to successfully navigate thru that setting up dish remote but not completely. My trouble is having to use the main roku remote to turn the tv on and off and switch over to satellite before anything can come on. Very frustrating.
I have A TCL 55 Roku model 55S451 and the Dish code given is 1756, but that fails. So I learned it from my Dish remote and it is 4398. It is paired and working.
@@geraldcoleman8695 yeah it sounds like you need to get a new remote from dish. When you get the new remote then do what i show on the video to pair it with your dish receiver
That is not "pairing", that is programming the remote with an IR database of a specific TV. Pairing is what is done to connect a Bluetooth device. Yet another misnomer.
I swear everytime my kids change the channel they mess up the remote connecting to the tv, and I always go back to this video 😂 👏👏🙌

You might try taking your batteries out of the remote then putting them back in to see if it resets it.
I did and I even put new batteries in it and it still doesn't work
