Here's a helpful tip for installing the transmission skid plate: Hello, fellow van owners! I just installed the Van Compass engine, transmission, & rear differential skid plates I purchased from Van Owls. Overall the installation was pretty start forward, but those bracket spacers were a very challenging piece of the install. As John recommended in his video, I used a small telescoping magnet to maneuver the spacers into position. Even though the front bracket spacers were a bit tricky, they were pretty easy to install with the magnet. However, the rear bracket spacers were VERY DIFFICULT to install. I ended up using a common nail shoved through the bottom part of the bracket to hold the spacer in place. Once I had the spacer aligned, and in place, I placed a stronger magnet on the top portion of the bracket. In doing so, it pulled the spacer to the top part of the bracket, creating the space needed to slide the transmission skid plate into place. Once the spacer was firmly attached to the top portion of the bracket, I removed the nail I was using as a guide rod and carefully slid the transmission plate into place.
Oh, BTW, even though the rear differential plate was by far the easiest to install, be sure to attach the two nuts/washers to the front U-bolt before attaching the rear portion of the skid plate to either one of the rear U-bolts. If you attach the rear U-bolts first, the skid plate will not be adequately aligned, making it impossible to thread the washers/nuts onto the bolts. Also, depending on your vehicle's mileage, you may want to consider doing a differential oil change prior to installation to prevent getting the new plate oily/dirty.
Hello, thanks for your videos and for the attractive products that you show us. Attractive design and functionality. Can all products be installed in a 2020 Mercedes Benz Sprinter 170 EXT European version? Is it possible to buy your products in europe? Thx.

I can't thank you enough for sharing. Great content.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication
Awesome looking upgrade for the Revel! 🍻
I would put the spacers in first and temporarily hold the with a bolt from the top before temporarily mounting the skid plate
this is exactly what i was thinking watching the video.
Is there still access to the oil drain hole? Maybe replace the drain plug with a petcock and tube?
Good video , ty for posting
