On those close fuel line connections do loop instead of a straight connection. Less chance of a crimp. Love the vids Wyatt. Keep em coming.

This sled will be back in the fall for more maintenance (chain case, bogeys, etc) that’s actually a really good idea. Thanks!

Nice sled. Thanks for coming on to the vintage podcast with Mike and Rob on Thursday. We would love a video of the caribou for the podcast for next season.

Great video man! I really think you should do sled mods, and older four-wheelers

Ok here goes. I have owned all three versions of that sled (At the same time). In Sweden That sled was sold as a SNO-TRICK and SNOW TREK. The only difference was the color of the hood. The Main chassis is a licensing deal from SKI DOO. The chassis were built in Sweden by Active corp (They make snow-track groomer type machines) Ski Doo drawings were used but The chassis are slightly different. The wards chassis is 1in longer than the Ski Doo to accommodate for the tow hitch. The hood area and the ski spindle areas are a bit beefier on the wards sled as well. All the drive line components are straight from Ski Doo. The track should have a Wards or Sno-tric or Snow trek stamping on it .The lighting is from a Swedish scooter company. The switch on the bars is original (from a scooter). The wiring patch block on the engine is also original. You are right about the sound from the Donaldson pipe is pretty cool off that Sachs motor. The tube on the gas tank cap is the right amount of oil to put in the fuel tank when it is empty. A little black tape on the upper end of tube keeps it in nice and firm usually lasts for about a season. If ya have questions let me know.

hey wyatt, not to be a pain in the ass but that wacky pronounciation is "sacks", fitchel and sachs. looks kind of like a ski-doo copy. i wonder if that is the 293 cc 17 or 19 hp. i think sachs made the best single the 340 with a hd. it was almost 30 hp.they came on a bunch of wierd name machines other than the famous ski-roule.

This is not a ski-doo. Its a Sno- tric , made i sweden at Morgongåva.

I know it’s not a skidoo but it used skidoos parts and as well as skidoos design for the chassis.
