I got the 15" tote not too long ago. I like it quite a bit. Very well built. Those cliptech clips are rather hard to open initially. You do have to be careful about not getting too top heavy with these totes. I've had mine tip over rounding curves in my SUV.

I'm guessing the Amazon vendor is selling f@ck ups. There is no quick release in the handle on the one we got. but if you read the attached info it clearly states a quick release in the handle. That's why the tote leans. It's because the handle is too short and its missing the QR buckle.
Indeed, it seems like that is an increasingly common Amazon vendor trick. Buy some factory 2nds (or 3rds at times), sell them super cheap on Amazon and then disregard the bad reviews. Cheap is cheap, right?
There must have been a compelling mastermind class that modeled how this bought 100 folks a beach house and then the attendees were SOLD!!
