whats the difference with the made in japan apart from being a 100 more, because all the japan ones i see still say cased in Thailand and don't actually say AJ on the case back either
The watch are just the same. The engine are all made from the same Casio factory in Japan. Then they were sent to Casio factory in Thailand where the band and bezel was made and where everything was assembled together into a watch. Then Casio separate the complete product into several market region either in Southeast Asia, Japan, Europe, US, etc. The barcode at the box tells which market the watch was intended to. JA = Japan DI = Southeast asia so on and so forth. (that why the box matter) The ones that was sent back to Japan will be packed differently where Casio will add on Japanese manual book (very precise instructions contents), different price tag, different warranty card (local OR international) and sometimes novelty gifts. The ones that was sent to Europe, Asia, the rest of the world will came with multilingual manual (basic instructions, not as precise as JP manual book), english tag (no price listed), international warranty card. The box & papers tells different story to where the watch came from and from there we could tell how much the costs a seller had to pay to get the item and thus re-sell values & collectibility. *Every single G-Shock goes through this same process.
@@gshockhighfashion Made in Japan say it all , MADE in Japan , with gloves and precision , not cheap labor thailand workers.... I would pick up a JA over anything anytime
You don’t happen to have a chance to get ahold of the GA-1035A-1A ? The 35th anniversary edition of these? I would really like your thoughts of it Please let me know
I am getting mine this weekend. Looks great and fingers are crossed. One thing I noticed is that is there no world time in this model? Also the plastic buckle is a big no-no. The regular model has a steel one, so why couldn't the anniversary model have the same?
Very nice watch. I own it since xmas. But I think, unfortunately, that this watch is only for collection, not for wear it. Today, january 23d, it looks used ! The coating, i.e. the matte layer goes away! Every edges are used.
Hi, I just received my Casio g-shock GA-835A-1A and you are right, it is too long. The width and height are just nice. What can I do to reduce the length?
Fair enough, I’m hardly lazy, changing batteries and all, but I do like the atomic function, you get used to it for a work watch. I own at least 12 watches which are mainly automatic, so you’d think I wouldn’t mind adjusting watches!
if only it had a neon illuminator and tough solar.. please casio make those two features standard on all models and ease up on the alarms and 20 stop watch timers
damn fine slick looking all black gotta own one.
I love your enthusiasm and all the time and effort put into the videos! Good job man and thanks so much for the videos :)

It's metal clasp on the normal version lol
really awsom
Will this watch increase in value?
I'm not so sure. Maybe It'll only maintain its value. This series is very new on the market.
oh my so beautiful😁😀
this watch is great for those who sneak around in the night. burglars, ninjas, and black ops operatives. XD
😅 Didn’t see this coming
Will this model be available in the UK?
Rob Goodall I hope so, I really hope so!
did the screen saphire glass
They're just mineral glass as the usual lower end models~
Hey .. can the Auto Light feature be turned off ?? Am sure it would consume a lit of battery power .
Sudeep Munjal yes it can be turned off.

I guess so. Sorry to hear that. The watch module still working fine though. 🙏
Of course, and I'm not worry about that. No doubt.
@@jguilmoto7584 upload a video showing the actual wearing , it will help everyone
J Guilmoto .... a watch is not made for "collection" but to wear it ....damn it...
This is a real concern. Thanks for the warning. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
2019 today and wonder if you still have this in your collection? If no, which watch persuade you to let this baby go ? :)
Nope, let it go already. The new G-Squad GBA-800 series is better.

Thank you for the comment.
gshock highfashion ok ok, spirit
but is not solar battery
Ok Okok would have bought it in a heart beat if it had tough solar.
£1 will be the cost of changing the battery. It’s the Atomic part is what I’d miss.
It be $0 to change the time manually. jk

I never understood why guys with girl size wrist want to wear oversized watches
it dont suit well
As long as the watch serves us well, there are no reason for anyone to care what others think.
@@gshockhighfashion Chronosport UDT type II (All Steel ) smaller in size , not oversized , just well balanced & perfect military watch

Are you serious? Watch is so basic for a G shock collector... Horrible 35th anniversary models used, Casio must have smarter designers
Go SEIKO ...not casio....
