Philosophy made me enemy of myself. But now life is good in 3rd person view.
Bhai par yeah bhot der baad PTA chalta hai😂😂😂
We have two lives, the second begins when we realise we have only one.
😂😂😂😂😂bhaaai
Reading too much of it induces greater self awareness this is why hatred becomes a logical recourse, third person view or zoom out perspective is always there even if we do not read philosophy
@@mattcardin1796 The more I read, the more I acquire, the more certain I am that I know nothing.
Beyond good and evil is not the one should read at the start of his/her philosophical journey, certainly not.
Yea exactly!
"The Story of Philosophy" by Will Durant is a great starting point for anyone interested in delving into philosophy, offering a concise introduction to philosophers from Socrates to those of the 1950s.
I’ve learnt much philosophy from it and I confer that the synopsises that it encompasses are repleted with wisdom. Him also adducing critiques is a nice way of displaying both pros and cons of particular philosophies.
I can listen to you talk about books all day long and gonna give them a read!
Lovely collection....keep up the good work charu
A great book to start philosophy is Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder (I have a huge crush on Charu, I just wanna drink coffee with her and talk about books).
Can't wait to see what amazing content you'll share next!
Perfect recommendations! great vdo... and your voice is therapy... so soothing... looking forward to seeing you more...
Krshnamurti is my favourite too , first & last freedom , commentries on living etc..
Lovely collection, philosophy has always been one of my favourite topic to read, there was a moment in the video where you mentioned about philosophy & spirituality both but I believe if you could provide a collection on spiritual books as well ✨👏🏻 keep up the good work
It is honesty scary how well read Charu is🙏
How is it scary mam?
true
Hey chau..............discovered this chanel recently.........great and very useful content
Thank you for the great work you are doing, I wish you all the best for this unique initiative of making content around books
Notes from the underground legit made me question how can a man hate himself so much. This book was my entry to philosophy
Smji tereko
Thanks for the recommendation Charu...would definitely check out some
thank you didi, this is my first video I watched on philosofy books !!
This video made my day. Thank you ❤❤
Notes from Underground is a great, if not perfect entry into philosophy.
Thank you for covering krishnamurti ❤️
Love this video ❤
Nice work done.
Lately I have been reading
"Don't believe everything you think" and kind of mesmerised by the insights
✋
Appreciate the Michael Sandel video lectures recommendation. I'd like to request that the chalchitra crew comes together and each recommend their favourite video lectures.Would really love it.
Excuse me, but in what world do we begin philosophy with Beyond Good and Evil?
Nietzsche literally argues that morality is for the weak and that the strong simply do what they want to do.
The poise in your voice ❤️🤌
One of the best quote from book meditation is "The best revenge is not to be like your enemy"
subscribed!! loved it
loved it, do you have a dedicated series for philosophy ??
Have read most of them thoroughly out of interest, except the Krishnamurti one… Will look at it now! Thanks for recs
Damn good recommendations.
Your thumbnail is amazing! Just keep it up dear to make a video on philosophy book review! Have you read the book power by Robert Greene or not, please!
I have recently gotten into philosophy, I watched Dr. Vikas Divyakirti Sir's videos on his channel and was so intrigued to read books on the topic. Love the timing of the video! Plus the vibe you guys have here :)
Thanks!
i have to read the book- sophie's world. it is in my bookshelf. recommended by vikas sir
@parth3075 bro you should read diagenes
@@inarc1 Yes I noted that too, on my tbr
@@Pablo_Escobar_Gavilia I will read about it thanks!
@@parth3075if you are a starter dont pull over with osho kafka or dostoevsky be at surface level philosophers like plato aristotle lao tzy etc. Hope it helps
You can start with Plato's dialogue Apologia and others.
thanks for the recommendations. Fyodor and j. krishnamurti are my fav. I would like to recommend books by ACHARYA PRASHANT if you want to have more clear view on day to day life.
Philosophy for beginners and the first book thrown is Beyond Good & Evil. Charano 🦶ko naman 🙏
I love the first and last freedom by jk I read it couple of years ago
Please invite Punit Pania to share his books collection. He has read some awesome books
Sure, will definitely try for Punit Pania.
Thank you so much for the Super Thanks :)
I have read Kafka halfway throgh. But then I moved out of city for College and the book is back home AAAAHHHHH
Honestly speaking, after reading Dostoevskey's Crime and Punishment, The trial and Metamorphosis by Frank Kafka, The outsider and The Plague by Albert Camus, my life has never been the same.
If you really want to understand life: Jiddu Krishnamurti's books are enough. (I'm not promoting anyone it's just my personal suggestion) Because self-knowledge is essential in life.
Yeah bro I am also understanding him.

No books from hindi authors; who have a very deep background in philosophy. Suepirsing!
Arr bhi western culture wale Indian hai yeh sab inko western philosophy hi pasand aati hai. Western gand chatay hai har jija may
vaise Hindi author Mein ashtavkra Geeta padh sakte ho.
I❤indian Philo.
Please also mention the toughness of English in books recommendation. It will be helpful.
I would like to recommend Long Pilgrimage by JG Bennet. and Thakur Lang Pilgrimage.
Philosophy made me critisize myself so much
Which is your favourite book in memoir?
❤❤
Everyone should read " better never to have been " by david benatar , "the human predicament" by david benatar,
I was just into her eyes the whole time. You are the most beautiful girl. I’m sure you get that a lot.
These are not actually beginner friendly recommendation. Beginner friendly would be something like 'Sophie's world'.
I was about to say that! XD
the rebupic by plato is my recommendation please a must read book for everyone
Most of the western philosophy and one prominent philosopher B russel must be there
Anxiety develop ho gyi philosophy padh k.
Bhai apna jivan hi ek din philosophy ban jaya gi ya apna jivan hi philosophy😑. Toh kiyo paday dusaro ki philosophy 😂
Was confused where to pick nietzche at, will start with beyond good and evil def ❤
It will be tough to read Good and evil. As a beginner in philosophy Krishnamurthy is best. Freadom from unknown.
@@PRINCEjxyfglxguxggxfj-qe2iy will try that as well, thank you for recommending ☺️
many people suggested me miracles by cs lewia , also i have listened to almost all the philospher from plato to jung , which books should i go for ?
Try my book “Meditation and Spirituality a Philosophy”
What's your opinion on the Book of disquiet
Give some reccos on psychology, video lectures included
Philosophy is like massaging on top while spirituality is core surgery of beings consciousness. 😀
Are you reading philosophy just for reading or implementing in your life
Hell is other people such a deep quote. 😮👍
Best entry level philosophy book would be "man's search of meaning"
Light, not as dense and still "meaningful" (pun intended)
Any recommendations from Sri Aurobindo?
I too like the philosophy genre very much n when i finally decided to read philosophy I was clueless so i did some research and i found stoicism very fascinating so i wanted to read more about it but the book i picked as a complete beginner to philosophy is 'sophie's world' by jostein gaarder which is my current read the book is brilliant read it whether u like philosophy or not. after this i intend to read stoic books. What according to u is a good way to read philosophy? is it to pick a school of thought say nihilism or anti natalism n read about that discover different authors n dive deep? or what other way do u recommend?
nihilism and antinatalism are not philosophy in academic sense but praxis or the end of philosophy
@@mattcardin1796 oh i see thanks for informing me. also if u can please tell me the way to approach philosophy as a complete beginner, how to read different schools of thought?
@@subhranilghosh8028 Read problems in philosophy by Bertrand Russell or Introduction to Western Philosophy by Y Masih. For Indian schools you can go for Introduction to Indian Philosophy by Dutta and Chatterjee
@@isohel9889 thanks.
More importantly, is she taken
I just bought Thus spoke zarathustra
Best book, but too complex, it's not for beginners
@@WhoCare-rc4udWatch Thus spoke zarathustra lectures by Desi Philosopher on YT, no one can beat that!
Vedant ❤
Steven pinker books ? I really want to know .
any other lecture series apart from justice by michael sandel?
i find meditations difficult to read , i dont know if its something with the version i own or its just something beyond my intellect.
Probably beyond your linguistic comprehension
Probably the language. You should try watching videos by The Daily Stoic/Ryan Holiday or maybe read a book about Stoic philosophy beforehand
Any recommendation in Hindi.
What are some video lectures to start with for beginners?
Desi philosopher UA-cam
I don't think Beyond good and evil should be starting point. Its way too deep and intricate for beginners. Just my opinion.
1) Upanishad
2) Ashtavakra Gita
3) Bhagwat Geeta
4) Brahma Sutras
5) Neo Vedant
6) Your life is also philosophy
Dhanyawad 🙏
its sad that people consider philosophy to be an exclusively western phenomenon and they forget the rich philosophical tradition of India & other eastern traditions.
Read literal translations of these books not the commentary
Bcoz in the commentary writers put their agendas to it
DUDE HOW CAN YOU NOT INCLUDE "THE BROTHERS KARAMAZOV" AND "CRIME AND PUNISHMENT" by FYODOR DOSTOEVSKY
Stay away from Dostoevsky, I'm currently reading crime and punishment, gosh I hate myself so much.
That's what dostoevsky does to a person and i really really try to avoid him.
everything was fine but then Peterson came and ruined my day.
Saari philosophy English me hoti hai kya ??
Desi philosopher ko dekh lo bhai hindi me mil jaaega
Online website to buy books??
Amazon
I think that if you can objectively evaluate yourself from a third-person perspective, you do not need to study the philosophy of someone like you.
There's an earthquake at 2:10
😂
Read Bhagavad Gita! It's the best philosophical book I've read so far!
Chutiya western culture Indian hai bhai
I disagree.. Katha Upanishad is the best philosophical piece I've ever read so far..
For me , I think mahaasthavakra geeta is the best books i have read from hindu philosophy
Reading philosophy is very dull and boring it’s better to listen podcasts like Philosophize This on Spotify who discuss philosophy in layman terms and gives context and meaning behind the different ideas of philosophers rather than just hovering around one idea while reading one book.
Philosophy when understood through discourse (this is what Osho did) helps in context and intention of that thought as it becomes more interesting and helps us understand ourselves or the philosophy through the lens of that idea.
Understanding Philosophy through discourse or podcast is best option in today’s times. Let experts break it down for with correct interpretation.
Reading has it's own benefits though. Surely as a beginner listening to podcasts would be the best thing, but eventually one should start reading themselves
Bring vaani back
Hell is other people
Sartre
Philosophy is just a way of suffering
Itana bhi jyada philosophy mat padho 😀...all this philosophy is just mental gymnastics.
That's about the worst interpretation of Nietzsche I've ever heard. It's literally the opposite of what he argues
2:48 Dostosewisky lene k baad admi philosophy ki bate kar hi leta hai😂😂😂
PRETENTIOUS
Philosophy insan ka dusra znm krwati hai😅😂
Camus, Kafka and dostovoskey books are also recommended by Anurag Kashyap
The father of every philosophy is Vedanta, it will blow your mind, just go and read it
Ab inko kon baata chutiya Western culture Indian ko
Beyond good and evil is for beginners ? 😂 really
1st ...
Go through Upanishads...
Then go for any book...
U will discover.... U have already known more than half of the book.....
Believe me and try it....
Sahi kaha bhai, western culture Indian hai bhai
How a girl interested in philosophy? Does he have time from Babu Shona….
If my philosophy teacher had been this hot 🥵 I would have become best next Neitche.
will u marry me
Are all these books available in Hindi language?
