Beautiful ♥️ Well executed.
Thank You
Once again Paul another great video. I will definitely be booking up next year for the Little Owls.
Thanks very much Malcolm, yes definitely worth the visit
On Monday, I just randomly found one on an old apple tree right next to the bike path.
I assumed that it would be a great area for a little owl, but since there's only 3 confirmed breeding pairs in my county, I didn't really expect to find one.
Gary recommended your channel, amazing photography. Will be booking into one of your workshops.
Thanks Stuart, look forward to meeting up
Gorgeous as his-her green england
Great clips Paul, missed it this year but hope to be there next year.
They are actually still very active Trevor so still time
Nice video!
Thanks very much

What's the address of your website please Paul? Thanks, great natural set-up!
Thanks for that Clive, www.paulfowliephotography.co.uk
Really enjoyed my morning at the hide and got some images I was pleased with (although getting them in flight was a b&gger!). Added bonus was the hares running around the field. See you in a week or so Paul.
Clive
Yes them flight shots are not easy Clive, see you soon
Nice Video Paul 😊
Thanks a lot Ian
I like your idea. Do great horned owl's eat mealworms?
I'm really sorry but don't know the answer to that one but worth a try as most birds like them
Great video Paul, what camera and lens did you use for the video footage.
Thanks David, I used a Canon r% and a RF 100-500 & EF 600mm but most on 100-500
Great stuff Paul
Is that more accessible than the squirrel hides?
Yes just a 1 minute walk from car Graham
@@paulfowlie1966
I can see a trip later in the year then!
@@grahamhopkinson1816 Be next year now Graham, May to July
Something to look forward to and a target at
Would Northallerton be possible again Paul?
Where has the hide gone? Did it blow away?
It did Barrie, it was flapping on its side, roof split swell, another one bites the dust
Some absolutely amazing footage and images Paul but in my opinion, I think you are feeding them too much. I don’t want to be the Owlet Police but at this stage, the parents should be teaching the owlets to hunt. They may become dependent on the meal worms and will not develop the adequate hunting skills to survive. Photography of the owls shouldn’t be more important than the welfare of the subjects.
With anyone that knows me the animals welfare always comes first, once the Owls fledge the nest that's it the chicks don't come back as I stop feeding them so they don't get over fed I can promise you that, also the Jackdaws come down and pinch probably 70% of it
I don't feed the Owls all year, just until they leave the nest them it's upto them to learn and be taught how to hunt from their parents, I actually watched one get a mouse just a few days ago
@@paulfowlie1966 If what you say is right, that's a good sign but I would ask an expert for some advice Paul so you know you are doing the right thing for next year.
@@Gazzab6 Ok thanks once again for your advice, I do have over 20 years experience in what I'm doing but will look into this
@@paulfowlie1966 Richard Birchett is a good starter as he has held licences to cover Scheduled 1 birds including a special license to photograph them at the nest. Also there’s Simon Eardley who has held a license and both have helped me with advice re Scheduled 1 birds and birds of prey at nest sites. Simon Wantling has had done many projects photographing Little Owls and all of three of them have You Tube channels. Also Robert Fuller is well known on the BBC and You Tube for his live Birds of Prey streams. Good luck for the future.
