Your whole UA-cam channel is a goldmine of information. I've learned so much from your channel alone that other UA-camrs couldn't fix with my golf swing, thank you
Outstanding explanation! I’ve watched hundreds of YT golf video’s, you are by far the most direct and to the point instructor! All meat, no bones, no fluff…thanks!
I'm sure you have seen my recent comments. I just found your videos at the beginning of the week and have watched around 4 or 5 so far that I feel are beneficial to me. I have been watching Danny Maude for 2 years now. He is great as well. Along with Alex Elliott, Eric Cogorno and a couple others. You are absolutely up there with Danny Maude. Maybe better. Because you go into every detail but the most impressive part of your coaching is that you cover for example both types of releases where all the other coaches show their release. I think this would confuse new golfers thinking they need to do it the one way. They wouldn't know there is the body release, forearm roll type release, L to L. This is what separates you. You help golfers realize there is more than one way and that depends on many different things based on the golfers own body type, athleticism etc. I have been a head coach for high school football in Pennsylvania and am in the Hall of Fame for coaching.. I coach my players to make them better in their strong points and weak points. Always coach the basic fundamentals but then different techniques to what is best for each player. You most definitely do this and from the way you teach it shows you know your stuff because you don't skip a beat when you deliver what you have to say. I am the same way. I consider myself a very good golfer I've been doing your drills to get to the next level. Great job and I hope you get recognized more as you should. 🙌🙌
Wow thank you Tom! Like you said good coaching is good coaching no matter what the sport and to hear praise from a top coach like yourself means a lot. Thank you!
Great video, as usual. As a right-handed person who plays golf left-handed (there are quite a few of us here in Canada) it was nice to see someone referencing a lead-side dominant swing as well as a trail-side dominant swing. Your explanation of the two release patterns was excellent. I have no problem following what you say… people need to listen faster. LOL
great video- I just started to follow you this morning. I took some videos at the range yesterday and notice I have a slight chicken wing just after impact. I looked from a behind look and noticed my club face on takeaway is slightly open which leads to my chicken wing- I will work on right palm facing down on takeaway and pause to see if club face is slightly shut. Thanks- look forward to more vids.
@@Gilesgillgolf It’s a win for everyone :). By the way, love your videos, very no-nonsense approach. Would really like to see you do some recorded lessons.
Great video but you are talking to fast to get everything you are trying to explain. You covered a lot and if you slow down some you will probably help more people as some beginner golfers that are trying to solve some issues won't be able to understand because you are going to fast. Just my thoughts. Cheers ✌️
I've watch so many videos. But no one says.. ya gotta swing as hard as you can. Then our body's react!! Hips move and everything works. That's the most important thing! Little kids aren't smart enough to hear you... But... when they swing hard... their body takes care of it. That's what ya should say! Swing as hard as you can! Or you will never figure it out!!!
Outstanding instruction! I would agree with another review - if you could slow down you speech delivery just a little, your presentation would be even better.

Amazing to hear you enjoyed the video! I’ve got plenty more videos coming
Great video! I like the fast talking as you do speak clearly
Thank you Lewis! Great to hear you enjoyed the video!
One of the best tutorials so far thanks for uploading.
Glad you liked it!
Watched endless videos, can’t explain how much this video has helped me understand face control whilst staying shallow..
Amazing! Glad it helped

@@tomb4060 thank you! Will keep these videos coming!
Thanks for clearing up the two different releases and why they must occur. Lots of good stuff here.
No problem! Got more videos on the release coming out too!
this is one of the best on how to control the clubface, thnx.
Glad you think so!
From Backswing to downswing to release you are my go to UA-cam coach! Another brilliant video!
Thank you Steve! I’ll keep the videos coming!
you explain every thing so well, keep it up thanks
Thank you Tuan! Will do!

Thank you Jim! I had some of you Canadians in mind when I spoke about dominant sides so great to see it helped!

Thank you for following along! Getting the clubface square on the takeaway will make things alot simplier
Great video well explained. I wish you would slow down a bit when you’re speaking.
Will do but prefer for very long videos 😅 I’ll also ease up on the coffees before haha
0.75x playback speed is your friend with Giles. Tap the settings gear.
@@kirkchisholm8379 I’ve never thought of that 😂

@@kirkchisholm8379 Thank you Kirk! I would do those but I’ve moved my business fully online now so I only do online coaching via skillest
I’ve actually been playing a half swing for a few weeks now focusing on club face. I’m not even sure I want to go full swing anymore
A lot of people play with a half swing for control
I've heard so many times that the body is so smart it would adjust itself to square the club face; I honestly doubt that thought.
It 100% will. It’s always fighting to achieve the end result which is trying to hit the ball straight

Speed is key but you have to control the face to swing hard
