I can hear the emotion in your voice when you talk about the ridiculous job market & childcare stress. My son isn't even a year old yet and this year has been the most stressful year of our lives trying to figure out how the h*ll anyone can afford to have young kids and live. You are doing a great job. There is nothing more depressing than being rejected over and over and over again. Sending you love.

Thank you so much. Sometimes it's really hard to remember how great we're doing when life throws us curveballs. So thank you for reminding me and for your kind words. I hope your stress eases soon as well. And I'm here if you ever need to just vent about it 💜

I'm so with you. I feel your frustration and it's totally valid. I hope you crush that 50k! Hearing the hope in your voice at the end got me all teary. I'd need almost 9k daily to make it, but I've written EVERY DAY this month, and that was the real goal for me.
I'm proud of you. Keep going!

Creating and keeping the habit is the HARDEST part, I'm so proud of you for being able to at least write every day! That is an accomplishment all it's own! Thank you for your kind words and encouragement 💜💜

Hope you're doing well! I've always found the best way to get a job is to be referred by someone you know personally. The second best way is to sign up with a temp agency. Many times companies will hire temps to be full-time employees after a set amount of time, if there are positions available. Good luck!

Yea the last 3 jobs I've had (spanning the past almost 20 years) were from knowing someone there and being referred. Unfortunately, the temp agency isn't ideal currently because I need something that's flexible because we don't have daycare and there are no busses for my kids schools (because we live in a super small town) so I have to drive them to school and pick them up and they're on wonky schedules because my son is still in pre-school and he starts later than my daughter and gets out earlier. So, that's why I've been mostly looking at remote/hybrid jobs but it's been a struggle for sure. Thanks for the luck, I put in another 6 applications yesterday and I'm crossing my fingers one of them goes in my favor!

Not even five minutes in and I can relate so so so so much. I don’t have kids but I take care of my mom. Between her illnesses and her age as time passes she needs more of my assistant to the point there are already things she is 100% dependent of me. And while I do have a part time they love to think I have 100% open availability when I really don’t. The job market it’s a true nightmare.
Now onto the rest of the video I go!

I'm so sorry you're dealing with that. The job market definitely needs an uphaul for the better. I hope things turn around better for you! ❤️
