Creality’s latest update (3-10-23) broke my Sonic Pad.

  • Here’s where my Sonic Pad is on 3-17-23. Please note: Creality’s latest firmware update occurred on 3-10-23. I did a test print afterwards, and at 30% my CR6-SE came to a halt, then shut down.
After trying everything I could think of, I reset the pad to its Factory Settings. Interestingly, it’s still saying the printer is using the latest firmware. So the factory reset may not have worked.
I guess that means this is a very bad crash.
Also: another error message I saw said that there was a problem with the MCU. I couldn’t get that message to reappear, but I have seen it a couple of times while I try to get this pad working again.
What really sucks is I could have returned this product to Amazon if I had acted immediately last week. Apparently my return period ended on 3-15-23. That is a month after I bought it.
The seller has not answered my question about the warranty on this product.
I cave emailed Creality. This is day three of this pathetic drama. They haven’t gotten back to me.

You have the usb and thumb drive in the wrong ports. Reverse them

We discovered that. And did that. It didn’t help one bit.

Look for sonic pad Debian port. It’s still a WIP but keep an eye on it

You have to reflash it. Join the community and there is a custom port for it and it sick
