    Thought I was listening to the Twin Peaks OST there was a sec, man.
    Very Angelo Badalamenti in the vibes.
    Which is an awesome thing!

    I have a doubt. watching the video I see a cable coming out of the "send" of the tascam, the signal goes through the pedals... but, where does the "output" signal from the zoom pedal go? For an interface? I'm trying to learn how to use effect pedals on my tascam, ... i need a little help here :)

  • @palafonsimard

    Have you got the pedals chained? Is there a way to have a an individual pedal to an individual track so each track is using a different pedal?

    this is an old video so not sure if you will reply but what do you use to record all the audio coming out of the tascam and pedals?

    when you playback the tape, are you recording your headphone monitor feed from the tascam? theres hardly any noise !

  • @Drinkyoghurt

    Hey man, so if I understand correctly you can't just have a master in and send that to different channels, you have to plug in the input into another channel each time you want to record a separate channel? I have a 424 on the way and want to make sure I get the workflow right. Cool stuff!

  • @connorlawrence8003

    I recently got one of these however it didn't come with the original power supply? Are you using the original power supply? Or just a 12v that matches the rigs power supply specs?

      Just record on all 4 tracks to erase them.

    I got a minilogue also, it's great! We just finished a concept album recorded on the Tascam 488 Portastudio. It's alt-folk style music with some experimental sounds like tape loops, musical saw, synths, field recordings, etc. It's uploaded on our channel if you want to check it out!

    rookie move, always splice tape diagonally.

    • @John-mf1sz
      @John-mf1sz 11 місяців тому

      Well, 45* angle cut is what it should be to easily splice it without hastle, but you don’t *have* to, it is a bit easier that way, however.
