Went out with Good Old Rivers to catch a couple Mid day to Rush Hour Trains and we got suprised by Tri Rails Newset livery which made its debut this week on Cabcar 518

Quite a surprise to see 502 running again. We were all expecting and hoping on 503, since it has the new livery too just like 518 (in fact, 503 actually got the new scheme first before 518), but yet we got something else, unexpected, but still very welcoming. Though let's just hope it still isn't long before 503 actually does return.
Also really liked the interactions you had in the video, getting to look at those unique maps all the while the trains themselves were running right by. Some people might call that "foaming" to be talking in the presence of trains, but to me, that just makes the video more special and unlike other typical videos of just the trains and nothing more.

Well, the good news is, its repairs are just about completed, and it might return in only a few weeks from now.
It's amazing how so many units are having their bright moments around now. We were all so focused on 503, and then 502 came back, 511 is said to already have completed its repairs, and now 510 is on its way home. And with this miracle, it's quite likely that 509 might get another chance too.
