Great video. Last year my wife and I and our 3 adult kids with their spouses went here. 4 rooms total. We stayed in the Reserve ocean view rooms. One room had none working air conditioner but was upgraded to a larger room. Food was below average and like you 3 out of 7 of us got food poisoning.
@@msch7620 not hard to get a reservation at all I'm currently here at this resort and it's been very easy the reservations are actually for dinner, during the day you can actually walk into any restaurant without a reservation
@@msch7620 thank you so much! Honestly I flopped and was too tired to test the couch. Looking back at the footage I don’t think this is a pullout couch 😳 the website also doesn’t mention this room type to have a pullout couch, so sorry for that misinformation! For the restaurants, it’s on a first come first serve basis. And I know at least for the Japanese restaurant, they require your full party to be present. So we would try to arrive once they open to get seated.
Thank you! We got to the beach at 9 am to get the front row beach chairs. There were still available beach chairs up until 12 but you have to walk farther down the beach. As for the pool, the free chairs were already all full by 12!
@harshadsonaje thank you! We booked the tour via the website “Viator”. It was a package deal that included a tour bus to and from our hotel, Chichikan, and the Cenote. There are several different tour companies that offer this package on the Viator website, but the tour company we used is called Sat Mexico Tours
Great video Questions for you Do they have umbrellas on the beach or is there any shade on the beach? It doesn’t look like there’s much shade out there. Also, I noticed when you were talking about watching the games and the little boats that were in the pool you mentioned that only kids were allowed on them. I thought this resort was adults only when was your trip adults only at the beginning of this year?
There are umbrellas on the beach with chairs that are free to use, there’s an example at 21:25. It provided a good amount of shade. This resort is for all ages, but if you pay extra to be a “Reserve Guest” you have access to the adults only pool and adults only restaurants. Our trip was from July 27-July 30, 2024
When you opened the door next to the snacks you can clearly see the mini fridge or what did you think that black appliances is in there 🤦🏻♀️ it's full of beverages
This was a great video and super helpful !! Thank u ❤
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for sharing. If we go back to Cancun again, I would love to try out a new resort to compare.
Ill be flying out tomorrow to cancun and staying at this resort with my family thank you for this review
@@eddierh523 hope you had a wonderful time !
@@CelestraAcosta still here till Saturday and thank you we are enjoying our stay so far
This is the best video I have seen about this resort. Was it hard to reserve a table at the restaurant? Was the sofa a pull out in the end?

Appreciate the detailed video! How early would you recommend getting to the beach & pool to snag the free chairs before it begins getting crowded?

Great video. Can you please tell me how you booked the Chichikan Cenote and the transport options you chose to reach there and come back to the hotel?
