I hope, it's a big step for them since most of their events are a single week. This will be their longest event. Can they properly scale up their production, i have faith they'll do much better than rio
@@colin5197 Rio was supremely bad I think Blast can do much much better. Main thing is the crowd and how to hype them up. Otherwise even if they keep their formula until now completely the same I think it would be one of the best Major organizations

I never understand brackets in CS, but this will definitely be the best major ever! With the quality Blast has shown during other tournaments, there is no doubt about it that this will be the best major in e-sport history!
I hope but Blast events are usually only 1 week long. This will be by far their longest event, which means everything needs to be scaled up. But i think they'll nail it.
I can't speak for Val but when have riot events been confusing (excluding LEC's brand new format). Worlds has been such a basic format for over a decade.
Thank you, BLAST! For being like this and taking the time to produce such videos with detailed information and explanation! You separate from the rest with things like this. I wanted to know how the current teams got to the RMR stage and now I know!
genuinely thought this is how its always worked, maybe including some outlying teams just a little but seems a little late to round up enough teams to compete this way?
Am I the only one thinking that CS tournaments needs a system easier to understand like in real sports? Imo that would help making the CS esports scene more popular... Nobody who does not deal intensively with it will ever understand such systems, which deters many viewers.
The international is a once a year event and is the largest prize pool in all of esports without being the most popular... There's no reason to "compete" with that when teams are still more than hungry for the win. It's not even about the prize money for most of these guys.
I don't understand idea of Paris Major. We already know G2 is winning it. Just give them the trophy and money beforehand and focus on Major that will be on Fall.
I think if you understand everything explained in this video on your first watch, you automatically qualify to the playoffs with 4 of your friends

blast is the smartest and most sophisticated organizer. this explainer is no doubt the result of much deliberation and analysis.
Can't wait for the explainer of the explainer video to drop
This video is hillarious.
The word "qualifier" was said 22 times throughout this video
Thx for that stat
Thanks for counting. It felt like at least 60 times lmao
what about RMR?
I think you are qualified for writing that comment👍

Continue with the trend ;)

when will the first games be broadcast?
I’m pretty sure the first official broadcasts are the ones of the RMR

How many fucking phases there are on this major ?
so G2 didnt qualify in the last major, how will they play? in the open quali first?
Valve regional rankings, G2 is already in the blast major (i guess)

Why does the no 1 team in the world have to play rmr qualifiers
g2? they didnt qualify rio major last year, so they cant advance automatically to rmr, they have to start from rmr qualifiers
