I really like how many new mortal attacks they made even for the older movesets they reuse almost all of the new mortal attacks are new atleast the ones in the story.

Yeah, about every miniboss and boss in chapter 3 has a unique mortal attack I think, and Hanawa has Watanabe’s moveset but can throw flashbangs and has a new mortal attack.

Tsurunos is so simple but somehow my favorite one, that axe kick to the finishing hit is SMOOTH

I really liked the coliseum fights in the story this time around, felt a lot more creative than usual. Using Takechi's moveset from ishin was a cool choice too, it's super flashy and it's fun to imagine the stories of Kiryu fighting off the entire city with a katana in one hand and a gun in the other
