I believe this is the only time you get to see the top of the millenium tower on the drago engine. That's crazy to think they went through the effort of modelling the entire thing and setting up collisions and everything for it just for this tournament
Funny how they aren't allowed to use Iwami's likeness due to the fact he was modelled after a real actor, so they just gave him the glasses and went "that's recognizable enough"
He was already receiving mad disrespect in his own game, from Kiryu outright calling him a baby *to his face* and the game itself refusing to call him Chairman of the Yomei and instead naming him as CEO of Iwami Shipbuilding, this is just even more salt to the wound lmao
Funny enough, I use a similar name structure when inputting them for the arcade games. Kiryu is KRU, Yagami is YGM, and Ichiban is ICH. Imagine having robots with those names, bahahaha!!

Majima's parry was included in kiwami 1's nishiki boss moveset, but the ai was just programmed to never use it. My guess is they just copied the moveset from K1 directly without bothering to check which moves were actually being used in that game
This looks like they put a lot more effort on Mine's moveset, i don't know, just looks better. This also make me wonder if they are going to announce Kiwami 3 in the next years

I knew attack upgrades would kill me lol, i was relying on equipment the whole time. For some added challenge, try fighting these guys with all of the items that lower defense. Kinda balances out your attack with theirs.
I mean to be fair, Kiryu beat him when he was a lot younger and less experienced, he doesn't even have his iconic fighting style in 0 unless you do his business minigame. Narratively Shibusawa likely IS the weakest final boss Kiryu ever fought except maybe Iwami.
Well you have to reach a certain criteria like for example there's a platinum sponsored battle only after you finish all the Gold Rank matches. I remember that Plat Sponsored Battle was only available after a certain Main Story mission, I think? But if you're only starting them there should be VIPs when you unlock the areas near the Coliseum.

Lil Ryuji Goda actually has Ryuji's moveset too which is strange, he uses it in his story battle in phase 2

Because the guys moveset is already being used for slightly harder grunts, and they reuse it multiple times as well as in Lost Judgement
