oh thats actually something you can buy..i think.It was my wifes grandfathers that passed away many years ago and i still hang on it to this day.Its very useful tool to have if you can find one.I think they are vintage now.
You might want to dip the cordage in beeswax or put the chime under a structure. The sun and elements will wreak havoc on that cotton.
ahh yeah that thing is long gone now.It made it a few years.

I like any chimes expert 😏 bamboo. When I was in Vietnam 🇻🇳 the cong cimming through the bamboo on attack , ill shoot up the hole place at night
What kind of string do you use?
Where did you get the bamboo from? I can’t find a link anywhere to buy the bamboo that big
woods around here have bamboo in some places
