We will never see this brand of football again --but only hyped football, based on the statistics of gambling JIMMY THE GREEK talking heads -- so the games are now fixed.

Coach Mike Ditka was the best Coach ever in Chicago Bears History. So glad to be a Honey Bear to the Chicago Bears. DD Honey Bear

These were great days for the NFL and football. The 80's Bears and all the NFC just dominating with a tip of the hat to the AFC Raiders and Miami.

I'm a Seahawk fan, but I liked this team back in 85 because Walter Payton was/is my favorite RB of all time with Barry Sanders a close second. However, I was rooting for Miami in that Monday Night game because Dan Marino is my favorite QB of all time. But these Bears were a cast of characters each very unique in his own way such as McMahon wearing a "Rozelle" head band when the NFL forbid hin to wear one with the ADDIDAS logo. Then one week he's wearing a POW-MIA head band. Also, I agree with some previous comments that a Chicago/Miami SB would have been much better than Chicago/NE.

Dolphins-Bears would've been a much better Super Bowl matchup than Patriots-Bears. I knew that game was gonna be a blowout. Still cant believe Miami lost that badly at home to New England in the AFC Championship even 30 plus years later

Yeah, a rematch with Miami would have made it a perfect season for the Bears. Because this time McMahon would have played and they would have won.

Miami turned the ball over 4 times in that game and their defense got pushed all over that wet field. Hard to win like that.

I don't care for the personality of the coach of my favorite pro football team, as long as wins pile up on the win loss column.

Its a different game these days but we need a leader with attitude for our next coach. Chicago is different to other clubs and the last twelve years have been a nightmare. The freak show has got to leave town.

The offense will be unpredictable? The offense was better because of a great OL and some good receivers, but it was otherwise highly predictable.

Ditka was tough as a player too. He was the NFL's first great receiving TE followed by John Mackey of the Baltimore Colts
