- From last few months people are going berserk over old radio, old telephone & old television because of few videos going viral showing a valve with red mercury in it & they are offering lakhs & crores of rupees for this valve/mercury
As an antique collector I thought its my duty & responsibility to find out the truth behind this. So here is my Vlog on these viral videos ....hope it will help many...

I used to repair these valve radios since 70s,the valves were of MAZDA,PHILLIPS,OSRAM......and so many, I was in Bharath electronics ,Bangalore as a trainee, never seen a valve of red colour,I have seen valve Television sets and many many equipments,which used valves but none with red, the silvery appearance is due to burning of residual oxygen,it is in manufacturing process,by a Getter it is called as. I have repaired many many these radios

Bahut sundar jankari di hai. Aap ke paas jo 1960 ka radio hai, kya woh chalu hai? Is main lagta hai UY85, UL84, UBC81, UCH81 UF89 laga hai. UM84 display jo uper attached hai woh music eye ja kaam deta hai. Jara confirm kijiye.

U Y85 UL 84 UBC 89 UCH 81UZ80 जिसे म्यूजिक आई कहते थे यह वाल होते थे इससे पहले ओकटल के वाल हुआ करते थे मैंने 1960 से 2005 तक कलेक् टॉनिक का काम किया है यह सच है कि रेड कलर का कोई वाल कभी आया ही नहीं इससे पहले मोटे वाले ऑप्टल के बाल होते थे वो भी काले ही होते थे

sir, aapke pass radio hai aise Philips radio bahut repair kiye hai maine, l am in this field since 50 years, there is nothing like red valve, aur Jo radio ki Circuit diagram aati hai isme bhi koi mention nahi hai,but there is some reason behind this gimmick, wich is unknown.
