The trees here looks like London... Where almost every corner has a tree on the pavements and homes... This is where the colonial guys used to live so they planted trees to replicate London.. The old houses are exactly the same in UK... Apart from this area nowhere else in Accra has trees and greenery...

This is TERRIBLE! where are the sidewalks ( a sidewalk for walking needs to be wide) for people to walk around their community, shocking! around the world it is not uncommon to see wide sidewalks. Sometimes in Ghana I still see people walking in the street with the traffic. Overlooking something as simple as sidewalks for pedestrians, begs the question, what else have they overlooked.
Even if you can't do it at the beginning, at a latter stage with a wide side walk, you can plant trees, plant grass put in benches for seating or put in a cycle path or have space for a tram service for the town. with a narrow or non existent sidewalk with only a road for car traffic, you are restricted in future development of the area with the only solution to ban cars and turn the road into pedestrianized walk way.
