  • Hello everyone! Thank you for 200 subscribers!
I have had this 2001 Lincoln LS V8 since 2005. I haven't had any major issues until recently.
The power steering reservoir to the pump hose gave way due to old age and heat. You would think it would be a simple task, but unfortunately the hose has been discontinued and almost impossible to get.
Watch as I struggle to get our Lincoln LS V8 back on the road. Oh. by the way, it's overheating now. Watch out for the next issue!
Thank you for watching, hope you like and subscribe!

Dang. This exact hose of mine went out and the Linc is my daily. Time to check the pick-a-part spots!

Keep an eye out for the hydraulic actuator too for the cooling system. They're discontinued and very expensive used on eBay.

FYI, the motors in the ls is made by Jaguar. And a lot of the parts are discontinued, trust me I know. I have a 2000 model v8 and if you are looking for a good and clean ls I have one. you can use yours for parts car. I have done a lot of work on this car and do live in Shreveport.
