After over 4000km on my wheel the only maintenance I've done is to replace the tyre when it wore out. Changing the sliders is a must. A totally different wheel. The MTB tracks around here are very steep and very rocky. Going to a 650lb spring made a big difference in the speed I could ride. Much less Skippy in Rick gardens etc. Buying a 2mm thick sheet of carbon is way cheaper than buying the side plates. Right now, there's no wheel I'd replace it with 👍

It’s a great of road wheel, a bit heavy , but lots of torque even at slow speed. And yes, Bearing where loose, sliders where loose, bolts broke, but now after having it fixed, I have seen the insides. it has more torque than my old Sherman. Has much better tyre ( I do not agree with your idea of the KS tyre) I Sherman is square and has traintracking, try cornering at high speed on grass with the KS S22 en the Sherman orginal tyres. The only bad thing about the KS is the bad Bluetooth connect, I can Push as much as I want on the start button , it will never start until I open the app en try connecting very slow.
I have 800 miles on my S22. I use it for everything but commuting to work. I waited about 400 miles before I changed out the sliders...huge mistake...do it immediately. It is a huge upgrade. Trolly handle isn't good for anything but a helmet stand. I usually leave the wheel by the exit in a store or restaurant and carry a bike lock in case I need to leave it outside. I do not have much crime in my area so I don't worry about it. I ride slow typically (15-25 mph) so I get pretty good range. I also rarely ride it further than 5 miles or so at a time.
This s20/22 has so much hype pre launch which maybe led to its just as hyped disappointment. Thought bout the s22 but ended with the T4 as my dedicated dirt wheel. Its got 1600kms ie.1k miles & only things I've done is adjust the suspension screws & some wd40 to calm the linkage squeaks. Super fun & very playful on even gnarly stuff. Glad I passed on this Leaper Eagle. Will be eagerly awaiting the Extreme's debut in the wilds but honestly, my T4's doing everything I want & adding 20+ extra lbs does not excite me even with the better torque, speed & build of the Extreme. 15K on my Sherman max, replaced 1 bearing and 2 sets of tires. 5K on my Sherman suspension now, no parts replaced yet. I guess 600 miles is ok for a long term review. :) (I’m just picking on ya man, great video!)
2k miles with all possible upgrades (Sliders, tires, pedals, faring, bolts, pads, shock). And I just sold mine, waiting for the Patton to arrive for now. Need that torque man, S22 aint have it.

Our agreement is that I’m only able to demo the wheels in fair weather (and I can respect that). In order to avoid driving down there, which costs me lots of money, only to have rain for weeks, I would rather wait until spring.
Here we don't have much rain, but very depressing heavy clouding for weeks, i'll be in Vancouver between Febuary 24-26 for a Vancouver-Toronto luxurious train trip, i'll probably gonna say Hello to Eevees guy while i'm there :) @@landocycle

I use the trolly handle with the wheel going backwards. So bad, I agree.
I plug in the wheel on its kickstand, so if you turn it on it won't activate.
My slider kit comes with 32 CNC rollers and it’s definitely working in my favor
