She is amazing! unfortunately I didn't get to see her back in the day but liked her songs. She has totally won me over these days, I watch her live performances from back in the day and they are amazing!!! One of these days I need to go to Red Rocks to see her perform.

Feminists are women fighting for equal rights for women which is needed in this time - the way you wrote it, it sounds like being a feminist makes them women with low moral standards??? Maybe you didn't mean it to come across that way when you wrote this statement but it sounds terrible and I am pretty sure Sarah McLaughlin would agree. I would imagine she would be down with activists fighting for women's equality. Feminists are women (and male supporters) from all walks of life, mothers, daughters, sisters, brothers fighting for equality. And, just because some women are not as "feminine" looking and acting as others does not make them bad people. People need to be who they are and we should accept people for who they are. This song is talking about equality for all human beings and compassion in these dark times.
