The line that hits me is when KG says “he didn’t step on everyone like he could’ve”…. LeBron could’ve leveraged his position to take the shine from everyone. He could’ve not focused on player empowerment, he could’ve been a jerk to everyone, but he chose the path of unity.. truly the league couldn’t have fell into better hands.. long live the king

We can debate all we want about Bron vs MJ, i like MJ more but if you think Bron the GOAT I respect it. The one thing though: If you have to explain the game of basketball to somebody, show your kids how to play, or answer who the face of basketball should be all time, it's Lebron. Plays the game the right way, can do anything on the floor, always getting teammates involved, no scandals, no family issues, a great guy in general. He should be the face of basketball: Jordan can be the better player between the two, but if I had to choose an individual to represent basketball in the eyes of others, it would probably be Bron.

Lebron aint no top 5 because he had more help than any other superstar. He whines over calls from refs like a damn child, the refs give him less offensive foul calls, Espn over talk about him as if he is there savior and he used to flip a lot in the first six years of his career. I'm not fooled by just numbers. 2007 and 2018 finals run weren't impressive at all to me. He had a few good games but overall Detroit in 2007 should have made the finals and the young Boston team in 2018 would have better for the league. He has brought the ratings of the NBA down for most of his career. Woke political clown who may make millions but will have to leave it all behind one day.

@kapo2012fb Me? Nah bro, I am a 50 year old man who understands that the game evolves. I would select MJ over Lebron for the last shot of the game; however, I would select LeBron if I had to start a franchise. As great as MJ was, he only got to a championship under one coach and system. LeBron went to a championship at 22 years old with a roster that was worse than what MJ had under Doug Collins. MJ would not have gotten that Cavs roster to a title.

What great coach did LeBron learn from? The dude averaged 20/5/5 in the league at 18. He has won titles under multiple coaches and systems. Each team he played on got worse after he departed while the Bulls was a phantom call away from beating the Knicks and advancing to the conference championship without MJ.

I don’t think it’s fair to LeBron that he gets compared to MJ so often. We should just celebrate both of their greatness and stop putting one against the other. They do this with all of our black entertainers, athletes, and celebrities. Michael Jackson, versus prince, Martin Luther King versus Malcolm X, Jay Z versus Nas. I don’t get it? Lebron is the 2nd best player in history, how is that knocking him down? How can you be greater than someone who accomplished more in a lot less time? Longevity is the ONLY thing Lebron truly has over Jordan. Ok he leads in total points and is 4th in assists right? Now where is he in total turnovers, missed shots, missed free throws, and total games lost? If your gonna count longevity stats than compare all of them, not just the ones to go along your narrative. In every analytic stats Jordan is greater than Lebron. Lebron is 2nd in 95% of them so what’s wrong with being 2nd?

I think this is normal though. When you are not far removed from the game that competitive spirit is still alive and burning inside you. You have regrets and what if's on top of that. Some players it takes decades, but the more you are personally removed from your personal career in the game, the more objective you can be. True ballers can easily notice other true ballers, so it's no surprise they came around. Just shows the maturity and respect they have for the game and anyone who plays it at an high level. But to the fans who watch this, it for sure gives Lebrons legitimacy to anyone who isn't sure, because if anyone is to despise Lebron, its these two. lol

So imagine if Jordan came out of High School, and played 20 years straight....things would hit different, same goes for Magic, Kareem, Bird. And although Kobe played 20 years out of high school he was hurt the last 4 years of his career, imagine if he wasn't hurt

I bet y’all saying this means a lot to him, and any one who follows basketball knows his story doesn’t happen without you all beating him and continuing to challenge him. Awesome players and awesome perspective

The thing that doesn’t get mentioned enough either are the assists. Add another 25,000+ points that he orchestrated to the 40,000+ he scored.

@@samueljlarson Sure. We can absolutely subtract points off turnovers from the 65,000+ he’s responsible for creating.

I like these guys a lot now after hearing this, not for complimenting LeBron but for talking about his greatness now given where they come from with LeBron James as the C's back then. These two were great individually and together, they were great rivals of LeBron James and no who talk like this about him and be objective in their opinion is amazing, casts a lot of positive light on themselves, big ups!
