Thanks for watching, i have found a great one, did a video on it but haven't posted yet. It is about £40 or £50 though. But I think its the best affordable scart to hdmi adaptor, its unfortunate this one did not work well. Lol I do this too, as I am about to buy something, I quickly youtube reviews to see what its like, hence why I started my channel to offer these videos that i know I searched for myself at some point but never could get the answers I needed. Hopefully my video is thorough and covers all the questions you have. Peace.
5 years later, you're still saving people money 😂 i was about to buy it, granted for only £3.50 but it looks like i might as well just throw it down the drain over buying this lol
Did you ever find a good scart to HDMI converter .... because i have Scart on my Video combo but i have bought a tv that has HDMI sockets and no Scart sockets and i want to watch television
Hi would this device work on a crt tv I want to connect a Amazon fire stick to my crt and I was told to look for the scart for best option or can you recommend the best option please
I was burned in the exact same way, these 'converters' assuming they work at all (I've had a couple that don't), drastically lower the quality of DVD players and retro consoles I have tried. The result is almost always blurry, lower resolution. It surprises me that there are so many good reviews but then I wonder how many of them never played on the original format and don't know any better..
I just got one and the instruction manual stated No RGB scart input and only supports CVBS scart input. Does yours state the same? Could that possibly contribute to the poor quality images?
Unmodded n64 in pal region do not output anything higher than s-video. This wont help it, best thing to do for n64 is use a s-video to hdmi adapter, that way you can get the highest quality out the n64 without any modifications. I will post a video about this at some point too, I have got my s-video to hdmi adapter for my pal n64.
@@NCXitlali tested on a pal N64 & it didn't look great, I've ordered an ntsc Japan N64 so will be testing on that when it arrives. If I remember I'll reply here, if not just ask again In a few weeks & I'll let you know if picture is any better on ntsc console 👍🏻
@@Sterling20073 i just want something cheap with no lag. it doesn't have to look perfect but clear enough :). I live in Korea.... I wonder if they have scart here (No, I am not Korean, I just moved here 6 months ago :D)
I got burned by this not using the RGB signal - but meh, it's a good price for what it is and it works at least. Have never felt the need to change it.
damn, was about to buy this, thanks for the warning dude
Your welcome
SAME!
Jesus, literally just about to press the buy button Amazon before I decided to check out some videos, thanks a lot man. Are there any you recommend?
