I know his eyes had a bright innocent glow to them in the first game. I felt so sad seeing his eyes are dull and no longer gleaming with light and he had dark circles under his eyes. He has suffered a lot. I can understand why he was so angry at mages. I was so glad he put down his hatred in 3rd game and looks much healthier.
1:04:28 Totally my favorite scene. I looked for this after playing Inquisition. Man the authority in his voice is so great. Getting the actual details of his background (cuz yeah, not really described fully in Inquisition) makes his comments in that game mean more
4:38 Ive discovered that if you have Sten with you and you are given the option to give him food Sten will give him a cookie that he stole off a fat child from some village.
'mage can't be threat as normal people, they're not like you and me " "But I AM a mage!" It's funny how this game sometimes forget this "particular", sometimes not. A bug very well fixed in Inquisition. P.S. The templar stopping you at the lake IS NOT Cullen. It's similar, but uglier, his voice Is different and, most important, he DOESN'T recognize us.
Fun Fact: The Templar at the docks is actually Carroll, who we get a quest to kill as a Knight-Captain Red Templar in the Emerald Graves during Inquisition
Your warden is gorgeous 😍 little baby Cullen running away after you flirt with him is my favorite 😂 sweet awkward baby. I think he’s like 19 or 20 in the first game. Which makes it even sadder what happened to him, he was basically a kid 😢
Considering what Cullen has been through in the Circle in Ferelden, I can hardly blame him for his fear of mages and demons, even if they are misguided. He’s a bit of a dislikable character in the first two games, but in Inquisition, he’s much more likeable, and despite his overcautiousness with mages, he willingly follows one as the Inquisition’s leader.
I heard his first name was actually Gaylord McClone-ington. No joke. Due to the fact that he's David Gaider's copy and paste gay fantasy, obviously. Dragon Age fans already worry that DA4 might not feature a blonde sidecharacter to confuse or consciously identify with all the others.
Yes... I don't know what to expect now that Gaider has left the series. I'm curious to see about his new project, though. I think it's supposed to be a musical game?
Hello Cullen pls take a deep breath and calm down
Poor Cullen. He’s just a boy in this game and sole survivor of blood mage torture :( he has such a dramatic character development though the series.

That feeling when you spend two games despising a character only to see that you can romance him in the third.
Cullen had a lot of character development and romancing him with a mage is just too good to pass up XD
10:35 his voice just breaks my heart :'(
I'll never get over the fact the Gordon Ramsey sound effect is in this game...
Ah yes commander noodle hair .

Thank you very much for the summary! I only played Dragon Age Inquisition yet and Cullen doesn't go into detail with his past there.
Ah, the echo
We must secure the existence of our order and a future for templar recruits.
I do wonder what mods you had installed now :o
