2013 Penn Mile Stakes - Rydilluc

Rydilluc got back on the winning track with a strong victory in the inaugural $460,000 Penn Mile for 3-year-olds on the turf at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course June .
The Medaglia d'Oro colt, now 4-for-4 on grass, finished fourth in the Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I) on Polytrack at Keeneland in his previous start. He clearly relished his return to turf with a victory just shy of the course record for one mile.
With Edgar Prado riding for a partnership managed by Leonard Green, Rydilluc broke well from post 7 but settled a bit in second and allowed 100-1 shot Yougotthatgoinforu to take the early lead. The leader got away with soft fractions of :23.55 for the opening quarter mile and :47.84 for a half mile on firm turf.

Nice ride. Actually looked quite of a basic run.. Slower than normal at the half and hard push on the stretch..
