The stiffest competition that Tepin can and will encounter will come from her traveling abroad to contest the top G1 mile races on turf like she's getting ready to do in a few days at Ascot in the G1 Queen Anne Stakes, because the best turf horses in the world just simply aren't in the United States for the most part. But in regard to Tepin having any real, meaningful competition thrown at her at home in the states, a head to head match-up with this filly could potentially provide just that, IMO. The problem with that scenario is that Catch A Glimpse & Tepin are stablemates, so it's likely trainer Mark Casse will try to keep the 2 apart and pointed at different targets for as long as possible. But given the way that Catch A Glimpse is also starting to dominate in the turf ranks herself, you'd think at some point that her owner Gary Barber would want to find out how well, if at all, his filly will stack up racing against Tepin, stablemate or not.
