With this video you simply saved my car from a dishonest dealer. Totally cost me free(I have just got cleaned my camshaft sensor). Even though mine is a 2014 1.0l Toyota Yaris it's pretty similar to the old one.
Hello, the speedometer of my Yaris vehicle does not work, the odometer does not advance either, could the speed sensor of my Yaris 2005 vehicle be faulty, where is it located on the engine, can you help?
Absolutely amazing step by step guide mate it helped me a lot this did. Do you know how to access the TPS and Crankshaft sensor? Would be much much appreciated. Keep up the good work!
Hello great video😊 would this cause the engine light to go on?, has been on a diagnostic and it gave the code P1340, Googled it and it says camshaft sensor is the the same thing?, incase you can’t tell I’m not good with this stuff!!
I have no fault codes on my Toyota Yaris 1.0L (2004), new spark plugs, new air filter, cleaned throttle budy, clean MAF sensor, also tested camshaft position sensor and checked ignition coils - but still have vibration on idle and some hesitation after fast/sharply pressing the gas pedal (hesitation from idle to 1500-2000 rpm, like if the engine is choking), but if I give gas smoothly - the engine normally gains speed and power.... also no luck of power from 2000 to 7000 rpm.

HI! can somedy told me how to change the crankshaft position sensor of A Yaris 1? where is that device exactly? Thanks for your answer
that is located just left of the crank pulley
Hi great video
What's the wire above the camshaft sensor ?
Thanks
It's an ignition noise suppressor. It filters out electrical interference that can come through the radio system.
Would be better if u suggest some of the symptoms of this parts when gone wrong
shaking on idling, hasitation, +1L fuel consumption
Hi, thankyou for the video. A question for you, but exist a second sensor? Or it is only one? Thanks
You're welcome. I think it's just the one sensor on this vehicle
Absolutely amazing step by step guide mate it helped me a lot this did.

Thanks very much, I don't have the Yaris any more, sorry.

Gracias amigo por el video.
You are welcome ! 👍
Do you take off the cable of the battery first ?
You don't have to, but if you don't, just make sure the ignition is off while you carry out the job
Great content man, can you make a video how to change front fog light bulb on toyota yaris?
Thanks, I'll get around to it as soon as I can
Does this exist for the 1.33 vvti?
My cable is a 3 pin connector with 3 wires on it, for a 2006 yaris. Would a 2 pin also work?
No you'll have to replace it with a similar 3-pin sensor
Me too. And i never found it............
Hello can u telll me where is the CRANKSHAFT for a toyota yaris2 year : 2006 please :)???? thank you so much, i cant find it
What was the thing you unplugged just above the sensor what is it called
I don't actually know. I spent the last hour looking at engine diagrams and I can't find out what it is !
ScrewsNutsAndBolts I’ve done some research myself and it’s a Suppression capacitor so you don’t get ignition interference on the radio
@@ryanblake4423 Really ?, I never heard of those. Thanks for the info !
What is the name of the adjacent sensor to Camshaft Sensor?
Also looking for this answer
this sensor going bad can lead to a crank no start
What error code does this OBD give? about this fault, I see P1340 fault code, ıts true?
Yes that usually the code but it could be caused by other issues: www.engine-codes.com/p1340.html
Hı guys again, There are A and B camshaft sensors, which sensor did you change?

How high is the mileage on the car ?
@@screwsnutsandbolts 167 000km
Would this cause a long crank?
It's one possibility
Is there 2 sensors?
I think there's only one camshaft sensor on this engine
is there just one camshaft sensor?
I think there's only one on this Yaris
Thank you!
@@jamesmoran5885 You're welcome 👍
Is the yaris 1.3? Or 1.5?
This was a 1.0 liter engine
Is this p0016 error?
Is this sensor P01346? Thanks
P01346 is usually a fault with the Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Sensor
