Great video, your music is amazing i could listen to that tune all day long very calming and enhances the already beautiful scenery thankyou for sharing.
Good stuff, I like how your br80 is as beaten up as mine.. it goes to show how sturdy the machines are. Nice acoustic too... the br80 records acoustic great through the input jack as well as the condensers.
Thanks Rob! Yes, I've also got the original 4 track micro, I think the guitar tones are even better on that one! I've used these machines for live performances too, I just record the whole demo until I'm happy, then mute the vocal and guitar! Play along. Give myself a hi hat count (country 1 intro) Through a big PA, the drums kick ass and it sounds awesome! 👍👍
Thanks! On the intro, it's just recorded from the phone across the room. Later on the screen demo, it's a recording direct through the guitar jack, solo acoustic effects patch. I'm happy with the tone, so I've never bothered with miking up. It's a very good transducer on my acoustic 👍
That’s a great song dave, well done, couldn’t see what acoustic guitar it was you were using? Looks lovely, also got a small glimpse of that Gibson Sg and Fender Strat on the couch 😀😀
Hi Michael! Thanks, the acoustic is an Alverez jumbo, mid price range, but it does sound a bit like a Gibson! The SG is actually a "vintage" Asian made but British electronics, again fairly inexpensive. I bought that one for £110 but one of the pick ups was dead, turned out to be just the pot that was faulty, so quite a cheap fix for me really. So fitted a new pot, strings, and adjusted the truss rod, good as new! Totally different animal to the strat. 👍
Really good stuff indeed.
Slowly getting the hang of my br 80 , nice tutorial video
Yes! you soon get into it! thanks for the comment👍

Sounds great. How far away is the BR-80 from the acoustic guitar? Pointed at sound hole or 12th fret? Matter?

NIce tune mate, what kind of tuning do you use?
Thanks! for that one it was just the bottom E string dropped to D. Probably the only alternative tuning I ever use.
Thanks for answering so quickly. Dropped D is also a fav. of mine.. Happy New year and all the best for 2024!@@soultrader57fishingandmusi25
