What a detailed review, loved every piece of it !!. I am looking for a mid trail shoe not exactly hiking shoe, I guess this should work for me, thanks again for a perfect review !
All my Nike goretex shoes uppers are still holding up I’m curious how yours got ruined by rain. Are you saying the gpretex leaked or that the shoes fell apart in the water or maybe the outsole glue came loose? If so you need to get a refund.
@@SOLESERFER Nah bruh it was just a pair of some other very cheap shoes😂. And it was a SUPER huge rain that the water even got to my ankle so I just decide to find something that will keep my feet dry.
Just ordered some of these in Rugged Orange. Gonna use them for day hikes. I’ve been wearing Pegasus 36/38 for a few years now as my everyday shoe since they’re so damn comfy. Hopefully these new ones will be perfect for hiking with a bit more grip, gore-tex and the gaiter is a nice addition too. Can’t wait.
Hi there, i just ordered the rugged orange as well and it came to me few days ago. However i am not quite sure if it is legit. It said its made in china. How about yours?
Just purchased these earlier today, the same colorway you got. This will be my first pair of "regular" pegasus shoes, since I have 4 pairs of pegasus turbos. I needed a waterproof comfortable shoe to wear to work since i work outside and I'm on my feet all shift, and hey we're supposed to get severe thunderstorms when i go to work on Wednesday so these should really come in handy.
I got mine like 20% off but I had to sign up for email list on Backcountry which kinda sucks to get spammed with emails but it saved me some coin - look for a deal like that. ✌🏼
Hey great video! How are these in terms or slip resistance? I work at a car wash and looking for a comfortable water proof shoe to wear at work. I’m currently bouncing between air forces (leather so nearly water proof) and ultra boost (comfy and grippy but they get soaked)
I don’t know if I can give you a definitive answer about their slip resistance - on regular wet concrete they are fine for me, on painted concrete I honestly don’t know.
I would say yes but there have been complaints about the grip. It’s a daily trainer feel pretty soft in the cushioning you may want to find the gtx 4 - this years version on sale because it does feel a bit more planted in corners and the grip is better.
@@SOLESERFER Fantastic then, I could get a pair of those gtx 4 or pegasus shield 39 in my size for around 100e, do you happen to have an opinion which would be the better option for my purpose?
I think the 39 shield would work for your purposes if you’re not gonna be hitting the trails at all. Remember the shield is a bit more insulated - and hotter than the peg trail gtx - if your feet get rea hot something to think about. The NB hiero gtx is another option when you price shop. ✌🏼
@@SOLESERFER thank's a million man! I'm gonna try to keep hitting new pb-times even (10k) during winter so if the pegasus 39 shield version is as fast as the regular pegasus 39 then it should be the faster option hmm.
How do you rate these vs other shoes for dog walking? Did you size up at all? It was several months ago, but the 9.5 felt a little narrow on the widest portion of my foot but the 10 felt a little too big. It's been raining in the PNW lately and I need some shoes, so I'm going to order a pair!
They are pretty narrow but I went true to size. You can’t beat this midsole but something similar would be the ‘Shield’ version of the Pegasus - it’s not goretex but supposed to be pretty waterproof. One more option if you are worried about the width is the New Balance Fresh Foam 880v11 GTX or the NB Fresh Foam Hierro v6 GTX. The Hiero might fit you best.
@@SOLESERFER Thanks! I ended up ordering a 10... then ordering a 9.5 and I will be keeping the 9.5. I agree that they feel a little narrow on my foot, but otherwise prefer the true to size. Both the 9.5 and the 10 were pretty similarly narrow. So far I LOVE them and you're totally right about the midsole - it feels great! My fiance got some and the midsole was the first thing she loved.
I got me 3 pairs of Pegasus Trail 5 months ago, on god I haven’t used any of my other shoes since, I literally put them in their boxes to collect dust 😅 yesterday I placed an order for this colour, been waiting ages for to go on sale. Pegasus Trail is so comfy lol
I use them on pavement daily if you don’t need the waterproof goretex version I’d suggest the regular non GTX Trail 3 as the shoe can be a little hot in the summer with the gore Tex but with that said I walk my dogs 3 times a day in them and they are really comfy to me if a bit snug.
That is the most chilled review I’ve ever watched. Loved it!
Thanks my friend ✌🏼
Dude! This is one smooth calming review concept. I’m gonna delete my “going to sleep app” and just give this a listen. Nightly night…
Haha I’m glad I could help you relax and get some rest.

Appreciate that 👊🏼✌🏼
Never tried these before. I had the pegasus 92 in 1992 and I loved them. The whole pegasus line is fantastic and criminally underappreciated. 🙏🏻👊
If you spend any extended time on foot in wet weather they are worth the try 👊🏼✌🏼
Man I love the Pegasus Trail so much that I got me 3 pairs when they came out, today I placed an order for these ones.
They’re so comfy and beautiful
Yeah they are on my feet daily ….hope you like these new ones ✌🏼
Man! SOLD!!! Awesome, relaxing and straight to the point review. Keep em coming good sir!
Thanks my friend I’ll try! ✌🏼
Just got my shoes ruined after a huge rain. Ordered these after watching your review. Thanks a lot!

Ok ok dude I totally misread your first comment last night hahaha. Sorry! Thanks for responding.

Will you input a photo of rugged orange on feet here. Thinking of buying it as well. 😊

That's a very interesting looking shoe. I've never owned a pair but your vid makes me a bit more curious about it. Thanks for the heads up!!
I’m glad you enjoyed the info 👊🏼

Nice review John. Can't wait for the all black!!
Thanks Bill ! yeah those look sweet.
I just ordered a pair. Sounds good.. I hope I'll be happy with them
I hope so too ✌🏼
Good review man. They look solid and a lot like nike KD 7 bball shoe. Cheers 🍻
Thanks✌🏼
Thank you for the review. My ACGs are used up... looking for another Gore Tex pair. Will order soon....just wish there was a sale!
I got mine like 20% off but I had to sign up for email list on Backcountry which kinda sucks to get spammed with emails but it saved me some coin - look for a deal like that. ✌🏼
Thanks for explanation. Maybe I´ll buy one of these.
Nike hasn’t put them on sale yet but look for a deal I got mine 20% off.
Hope your channel grows!
Thank you my friend 👊🏼
Ele fala com uma voz tão boa que eu ficaria horas só para escutar!
Ahhhh thank you!
Hey Al Bundy what’s with the striped grandpa shirt complete with pencil pocket?
It’s my mr rogers look 🤔

Would you recommend these shoes for speed/tempo runs in urban enviroment during snowy winter?
I would say yes but there have been complaints about the grip. It’s a daily trainer feel pretty soft in the cushioning you may want to find the gtx 4 - this years version on sale because it does feel a bit more planted in corners and the grip is better.

Hey all some scenes you’re wearing high waters and others low waters? Oh you take the high road and I’ll take the low road 😂
😂🤣

wow i love this review

Appreciate the review
Thanks! ✌🏼
I would use those everywhere I go 🤣
They are good all-arounders for me.

Pegasus Trail is so comfy lol
Also big fan of dry feet lol 🙋♂
🤣 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Are they slippery on wet surfaces?
On pavement no if you’re talking about sloppy muddy trails they aren’t the best but work to a degree depending on how hard you’re pushing it.
Hey Al Bundy it’s your heavenly shoe father! Those shoes are dope but those shoe fronts look like the front end of a Chevrolet Cavalier…
Excelent video
Thank you 👊🏼

Are these good for walking on pavement?
I use them on pavement daily if you don’t need the waterproof goretex version I’d suggest the regular non GTX Trail 3 as the shoe can be a little hot in the summer with the gore Tex but with that said I walk my dogs 3 times a day in them and they are really comfy to me if a bit snug.
Hey Al Bundy one scene looks like you’re peeing on your shoes… is that a hose or did the yellow covers on your shoes come from err nevermind ….
