Could not resist this, I live in the west of Crewe. Watched it leave on the rail cam then ran like a big kid down the road to the west road rail bridge, arrived just in time to get a pic. My dad who use to drive Stream trains and was glad see the back of them for diesel would have been shaking his head in disbelief.

Why does it set forwards so far before reversing? Is it to do withe the track circuiting?
