the real competition is between Ram and Ford and even toyota now, Chevy I test drove the new design for the silverado, even though its a redesigned truck, it just doesnt feel like a brand new truck though, like the 5.3L Vortec needs a major upgrade, but they kept it the same, when Ram, Ford, and Toyota did they redesigns, it felt like completely new trucks, especially with the brand new 2015 F-150 coming out, like here lately the Seirra and the Silverado have been brought to their knees because its like everytime they try to bring something new and exciting out, the other brands top em, like fords eco-boost, and Rams eco-diesel, they are trying to make trucks that can tow just as much, but better on gas then the V8's and chevy doest have anything to compete with that, if chevy wants their trucks back at the top of the ladder, they are going to have to do something that will change the truck buisness forever, just like Ford and Ram have been doing lately...
Has the reliability greatly improved on the Transmissions. Compared to the late 90s early 2000. Looking to pull around 5,000 pounds give or take a couple hundred pounds. Rebuilt two transmissions on my 99 Ram great off-roading truck was a hog on gas worse when I was Towing screamed towing pretty much anything. And yes I'm looking at a 2013 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi 4x4 with a column shift 67,000 miles $18,500
I'm definitely not a fan of the dail shift. I'm looking at a 2013 Ram now with a column shift but my biggest question is. Has the Transmissions come a long way. I used to own a 99 Ram never had a big problem with the motors but the Transmissions was completely different story just kept burning them up.
The V-6 Gas mileage is great to have for day-day, but when needed what is the max payload and max tow capability? Great point on getting the ram box option. $42k is very steep IMO to not have leather or a V-8.
Exactly. An entry-level 1/2 ton with a V6 and base interior at $42K? WTF is the world coming to. Unless you can seriously afford and need a brand NEW light duty truck, pay down your mortgage or invest in an income property rather than sign a loan on a fall-off-a-cliff depreciating item like a $40k+ domestic vehicle.
Being from the farest edges of the south, a large majority of the males I know here would orgasm at this truck... which I can't understand, but I respect their perspective... or I try. And 40+ grand for a V6 Ram? Insanity... I'd spend 5k on a mint condition Power Ram and spend 35k making that into an absolute beast. Might make 5mpg if I'm lucky, but if you're buying a truck do you really care?
This truck and the f150 all show why the domestic brands are failing... They all need to charge a cool 8k cheaper at least to make them more appealing... Im.sorry but id never pay what these advertised prices are.. And they all always have problems .. So u have to pay out the ass at the start, and you have to continue paying out the ass every year you own it... God it's sickening
Man, thats still a nice looking truck. Almost 2023 and I want a truck under 30k. So 10 year old truck is about all I can find!
I'm in the same boat. New truck prices are insane
upwards of 50k for this same truck model year 2024...
Not sure why but I found this guy is perfect for reviewing vehicle like this.
This has one of the cleanest instrument clusters I've seen.
Love my 2013 Ram 1500:Outdoorsman I plan on switching to the RamBox bed
twisted seat-belts are a personal pet-peeve of mine... thank god you fixed it lol
This truck puts the Tundra, F-150 and Titian in their place! Can't beat Dodge or Chevrolet
-f150...

Nice Review!
And the Tool Undertow cd on radio screen was pure genius!!!
I really don't like the dial shift that Ram is doing on their 1500's
I'm definitely not a fan of the dail shift.

Good solid review! Tough choice to make between fors, gmc, and ram.

Can't wait for the 3.0 liter v6 diesel to come out on the ram
This ram is nice. I'd get the hemi minus those boxes and the smaller quad cab. I'd get it used too.
That Air suspension levelizer is a really nice feature. Almost dodge almost
Lol this guys has reviewed the last few trucks he's awesome.
Nice review.
Wow! You have to use your own legs and feet to get into the bed. Next thing you know they'll expect you to walk or something hard like that.
Sorry my mind was elsewhere when he said when it comes to tying down your load..LMAO!!
Good review, dude...thanks
30 pounds lighter.... wow impressive
41k for a v6?! U have to be kidding
good review and nice truck
Great reviewer
only 2?! damn we're doing good! #GOUSA
You did here base engine....right?

You have to compare apples to apples. This truck, and the other equivalent domestics, are years ahead of the Tundra and Titan.
I 100% agree! These car manufacturers know that the people will spend the money to buy these products faults and all!
Only 269 ft lbs in a truck? What was Chrysler is smoking...
Perfect for the 2lbs per year the average American gains.
Complaint was the shifter? Come on dude, seriously.
Everyone knows that every good truck review requires "a big white guy". That's his job.
I definitely do not agree. This thing is not the best looking rig on the road. I think it looks pretty damn dated for a 2013 truck.
Side mirrors are way too out....
Is a V6
Would you expect him to review a Mini Cooper? lol
tcrc360 probably a mini van
No matter how you slice it, it's still only a Dodge.
41 000 $ for a v6 full size ...
GMC sierra only
GMC cierra 2014 only
damn thats expensive
Mpg isn't to good for a v6
Is it just me or does this guy only review trucks?
Dodge ram
whole video is bullshit without the 5.7 foh
How old are you 13 or 14 loool
Our test model comes with a 3.6 liter v6...... because we are pussies
V6, fake review
Crap.
