Thank you so much for making my life easier! ❤❤❤
Assuming an adult weighs over 20kg (44 lbs)…. Maintenance is60 + (weight in kg -20)You’re welcome ❤️🙌
awesome, thanks! just like it says in the video!
Hi absolutely loved your video. Could you please do one video on acute fluid resuscitation depending on weight/heart failure patient. Thank you.
An adult 14-lb cat with 3% dehydration comes into the clinical. It estimated that the cat vomited 100 ml of fluid overnight. Calculate Rehydration fluid?Maintenance fluid?Ongoing fluid loss fluid?
Woweww thank you so much 🤩
you're welcome dood!
Thank you so much!
you betcha!
So a 62kg pt is 102cc/hr?
yep!
legendary tbh
Ayo! Thank you!
you rock
But does that works for pediatric too ?
yep! typically everyone except neonates can be covered by this formula
Very thanks
The "1" method Doesn't work if the weight isn't in tens like 10, 20, 30 etc.If it is 15kg for instance it won't WORK. Check again
right. that's why it's mentioned in the video that it doesn't pertain to pediatric patients. several times.check again
Cool thanks
What about 8kg
8kg x 4cc/hr = 32 cc/kg/hr!
Good
One for neonates pls🤣
interesting ................
I know, right?!
