Never seen Jimmy this serious and can definitely relate to the grief being a physical thing.
Rest Easy Sean
He almost seems human Love it.
@@kw5732 Very non-puppety like usual
We will all be like Sean one day, on Nazi Island.
Or fly tipped hanging over a hedge.
Heh lolol nazi island
Or winning Rectum of the Year
That truly was Comedy Gold...
See you there😂
We can watch "Hitler" climb the coconut tree...
We miss our grumpy old dad Sean . Jimmy is genuinely a really good man , true to his friends. Uou can hear the hurt when he talks about losing Sean. Love and peace to you Sean Locke.
“It was either that (writing a book) or a podcast - I think I took the gentleman’s choice.” 😂😂😂
Some of Jimmy's best material ever here, talking about the need to have a sense of humour in tough times.
Sean Lock was such a shock, so sad amazing funny man! RIP fella!
can't believe he passed me by never watched his shows live or channel 4 until its too late and his obits are being written rip
Jimmy is a truly remarkable person, a real treasure.
7:05 that's when Sean Lock part starts
Jimmy sounds so broken
Thanks for the shortcut.
Jimmy Carr and Sean Lock: two comedic colossi 🙏🏻
I feel like Jimmy might low key be something of an angel.
2:02 Was that Sean Lock’s ghost possessing Daniel there? When he said: “You liked that, didn’t you?!”, sounded so much like him, I froze for a sec.
Wow you're right I'm speechless
100%
Is it just me or does it look like when Jimmy is talking about Sean he is just about holding it together?
I fucking LOVE Jimmy Carr. Seany bear, you are missed.
I’m an American and agree with Jimmy about breaking news. Speeches don’t qualify unless I’m the aftermath of a tragedy! I like the more serious Jimmy!
Heartfelt interview. Thanks for the laughs too
Suddenly it became Jimmy's TV show.
rip sean..hope he went into heaven hard and dry no spit
I can't imagine Jimmy in a regular office job.
I judged Jimmy so harshly as a superficial person, who isn't anything outside of the comedian life. Damn was I wrong, I'm humbled at how this man can express ideas with such clarity, and how he can almost "switch" between moods at will. his face turned dead serious but he was still able to talk with humour about a subject that made him physically ill... That's incredible
I love Jimmy
I am not an emotional person but this really hurts I ache inside
Grief is love persevering.
christ on a bike, a fellow jimmy carr AND wandavision fan! never thought i'd see the day
Please to meet you.
"Frogs into princes", the original NLP book was truly transformative. The rest became a money making concern.
The step ladder guy took it right up ,and well ! Hope he wins the dance show prize then he can boast to Mr. Carr ! Jimmy is a bright spark and Sean Lock must have known that he wasn't all bad !! : ) I recommend the tiger and screw books !
I swear I can hear Jimmy laughing in the audience in one of Sean's stand up shows. It's not like his laugh isn't recognizable in the slightest.
My favorite Sean moment is after the "Challenging wank" comment and the boyish grin he had on his face when he "apologized" which meant he was still glad he said it because it was frigging HILARIOUS.
Shit that resonated with me. Thanks for the upload! Always been a fan of Jimmy, such a class act!
15 years down the drain, grief is not the only thing m8, that's a part of you.
Always liked him but know learning about his sensitive, earnest side I like him more 🙂
Still gutted about Sean Lock in my opinion funniest man ever.
when my son tells me about how good a comedian is I ask him " yeah, but is he Sean Lock funny"
Ian McDermott? 5:29 ! You mean… like… JimmyCarr is now a comedian because Emperor Palpatine kept saying “Do it! Do it!” to him? Flippin Nora! This explains everything.
That's Ian mcdermaid
A step ladder come to life 🤣🤣
RIP Sean Lock
"Let's talk about your tax issues....."!! 3:00
"You were a double act" Poor Jon gets left out again;(
And the weekly poker game, etc
Jon wasn't with them when they started doing 8 out of 10 cats
how am I missing the news that celebrities have died? This is saddening news, because I loved him and his sense of humour on 8 out of 10 cats
Yeah someone else died at the same time & I nearly missed it too. Norm Macdonald from the US. It sucks.
@@pepe6666 same for me
i can't get passed jimmy's hair.
Yer fake like him
What show is this and who are the presenters? I never watch TV anymore
the lady said it at the end, BBC Breakfast, dunno who the presenters are but i bet if you google the show you'll find that out too
BBC Breakfast - BBC1 6am-9.30(ish). Presenters: Dan Walker and Sally Nugent. Comedian is Jimmy Carr.
Geez those presenters are annoying. Love Jimmy though - and RIP Sean - you were one of a kind.
Orrrr geeeez guys only just now hearing this sad news ... how was it he passed
lung cancer
@@burbsonian7827 geeez very sad to be hearing 😥🙏👁 thanks guy's
I gotta say, the weather lady looks pretty hot to me...
Wow! Jimmy without makeup ! Looks almost human ! I think if he left England, the entire entertainment capitol would collapse. He's kind of a force of nature. As for that laugh of his; I think his diaphragm is in backwards.
Not the biggest fan of his stand up. Love his hosting of shows and this demonstration of his out look on life
Im surprised how good plastic surgery can be nowadays
BBC talking tax avoidance but not corporation tax evaision.
The BBC is not a corporate entity.
@@kelzuya It's in their title and they will always fall on the side of big business without fail.
The title should say less than 2 minutes of remembering Sean Lock because the rest of it has nothing to do with him.
Jimmy needs to bring his dad back into his life.
Teeeeedious…
I'm not exactly sure why but my fondness for Jimmy Carr went away when his receding hairline went away. I think it's because his act is quite smarmy and pretentious but his physical faults made him endearing and balanced everything out. Now I just find him smarmy and for some reason not as funny. Which is weird because he hasn't changed apart from aesthetically.
Sean Lock was one of the funniest comedians on the planet. R.I.P😥 Still can't believe he is dead to be honest.
Not sure what you mean about him being smarmy and pretentious. He is like and English George Carlin, but a bit reined in. If he really let loose he would be his equal (if there ever can be). I have found him sharp, witty and honest. Accepts his faults and calls out the faults of others. Legend.
@Vaan
Yeah, I don't think smarmy or pretentious were the right words I was looking for. I definitely don't think Jimmy Carr the person is pretentious. I guess I always liked the fact that no matter how much of a prick he is being he was not taking himself too seriously and was willing to laugh at himself. It just seems like any person who feels the need to have as much work done to themselves as he has must take themselves more seriously than I imagined. But again I'm struggling to explain my point properly and probably sound like I'm attacking the guy way more than I actually am. Maybe somebody who feels the same way can help me out?
Do you really believe he is(or potentially could be)the British version of George Carlin?
That's interesting, I have never thought of them as being alike but I am trying to see the connection. What makes you feel that way?
This is sacrilege I know but I have not seen enough of Carlins work to decide if I even like his comedy or not. Isn't a lot of Carlins comedy based on social commentary and exposing the truth? I don't associate Jimmy Carr with that kind of content but again I probably need to watch more of both Jimmy Carr and George Carlins stand up comedy before I have the right to a proper opinion.
This is just a personal thing but I find vanity in comedy off putting. I feel the same way about muscles in rock and roll.😅 It definitely says more about me than it does anything else but in my stupid mind I feel like comedians and certain genres in music should be above worrying about looks and aesthetic perfections.
But ultimately I do like Jimmy Carr and will eventually get over the hair thing no doubt.
@Vaan
And I agree about him being sharp and witty. I always love it when he appears on a comedy panel show because I know that I'm going to laugh, which is not always the case with a lot of today's comedians.
Is Jimmy Carr known in the USA?
I've heard him make appearances on the Opie and Anthony show when it was around and I think he has done some tv work over there?
@@poppycock31185 obviously I don't know the status of your hair, but I don't think it's vain to have a hair transplant. If I had his money I'd have one in a heart beat! Unless you get up in the morning and leave the house without looking in a mirror (which you may well do), you probably care about your appearance as much as the next person.
He was on the roast of Rob Lowe and absolutely owned it, he went especially hard on Ann Coulter.
If only jimmy was as funny as he thinks he is😏
