If only people cared about real life as much as they do about football we wouldn’t be in this mess !!!! Bread and circuses!!!!!! And you know it !!!!!!!!!!
This is why I avoided the station and took the bus from Churchill Square instead. In fact I no longer take the train to the Amex for all home games. I take the bus from CS - much easier, more space, less hassle and only marginally longer journey. But you avoid the queues and the station trouble, and you don’t get squashed in the train.
Yer fighting the wrong people. If only as much passion was shown against those who poisoned the people locked you down.the only good thing was free footy on the telly
WOW...I have The Auld Firm Derby with Celtic and Rangers, been to Millwall v West Ham, and been shocked at Birmingham v Villa but nothing like these boys.ULTRAS...
How the hell is this a derby....miles apart and in different counties....celtic rangers...Liverpool everton.....the two manchesters.....toon v sunderland....they derby games....not these two...
You forgot Manchester United vs Leeds United that is a horrible violent rivalry war of the roses. Majority of old school Man United fans would rather av Leeds than Liverpool it's mental the stuff that goes on between the 2 and the pure hatred
I remember going to Palace a good few years ago with City and we had a good Banter during the game.... while in a pub later there was some City having a laugh with the palace lads and all they went on about was how they hated Brighton! .... It appears it's because of games in the 70s when this hatred began...good lads the palace boys but that hate for Brighton is real!! 😂
Mostly Goes back to mid 70's when we were both in old Division 3 & looked on as the "big" teams in that league, met 3 times in the FA Cup with my side, Palace, winning third game, (after 2 draws), at Chelsea, both used to get roughly same size crowds, both went up, people laugh at it being called a Derby, fair enough, but from East Croydon you can get to Brighton in around 50 minutes by train
The reason I have gone right off football. Truly pathetic behaviour. Swearing for the sake of it. Ashamed to said I acted the same in my teens and early twenties then I grew up. When football is the most important thing in your life you are a very sad individual.
1968 MILLWALL @ Pompey and Millwall had the whole of the original 2-Tier Home End. I could hear "Knees Up Mother Brown" and the car was parked 3/4 mile away. lol It was only 56 years ago.
@MrRichJames not really sure if that's a serious question or not but seeing I don't mix in Croydon circles I'll let you work it out yourself. At the end of the day everyone knows every Nigel is called Nigel so that soapy fat 'Holmesdale Fanatic' is clearly Nigel 🙄
Very well said and true I was active myself in 80 s ,most of these wouldn't of even turned out especially at away matches ,without police protection like it is now back then there would be a couple of ,police wandering around town ignoring football lads even if kicking off ,I've seen the best of all two dibble leaning against a wall ,as it goes off all around them 😂
How can there possibly be a "derby" connection between Brighton and Crystal Palace lol?????? This must be the most irrelevant "derby" in football almost embarrassing.
country is under attack from within and these fools are still fighting each other over a game of football..
Bore off. Read a book or something

If they had this much anger against illegal migrants✔️
better check DNA you might be surprised where you come from lol
