Nice. Honestly I think one reason your team mate in 2nd game was hesitant was because you cut rotation alot to take the ball and he started expecting it and didn't want to mess up. Just saying sometimes you need a balance of being unpredictable to opponents but being predictable enough still for your team mate especially without comms.
