After watching this and being stuck in mid to low 1600 I decided to play myself and see if I can shoot up to gc3 before the end of the season, I solo queued got a really good teammate one game and decided to keep playing together, from 1651, came a 8 game winning streak, taking me up to 1717, Thanks for inspiring me to keep pushing myself! I appreciate you, awesome video

Congratz! I love how you kept grinding instead of giving up! It takes a lot of effort and determination to get that high in ranked! I'm currently GC1 trying to go pro, and I'm already struggling, but won't give up. This gives me a lot of motivation to keep going. Good luck if you're going for SSL next!

This game's grind is not for everyone. I peaked C1 a few seasons ago, but then I crashed and stopped playing. Now I sit in D2. I couldn't make it to GC which I was aiming when I started playing the game, but I did manage to get top 10%, which I am happy. GG on you though for reaching that rank.

@@jimsagubigula7337 hey man everybody has different peaks and different levels that we can get to. I've been gc1 for 11 seasons now, only got out once. Quite sure gc2 is the peak and I can't even get back to that haha. It's just a game at the end of the day.

Fr man especially since I went up a couple games into GC3 right before I plummeted
I hit GC1 for the first time with onky 650 hours. But 70% of that was in training. If you focus in training and getting better then you will see it in game. If you just play games and expect to improve it will be super slow.

@@typeofguyto what type of training did you do and what mechanics did you learn? I feel like this era of rocket league heavily relies on having mechanics to reach higher ranks
@rahatislam3330 here are my 2 cents on climbing the ranks.
In training:
Make sure you can catch the ball and pop or flick it. That will beat people almost everytime.
Learn to air roll and at least do a basic air dribble.
Practice dribbling/controlling the ball and very high speeds. Just try drive circles around the field and super sonic or close to it with the ball on your car.
In games:
Use all your brain power to focus on not over committing. Challe ge when your teammate is back or put the ball in your corner and stall time. You can win games by not even leaving the ground if you don't overcommit.
Don't panic or get mad on 50s. Just practice hitting g the ball second so you win the 50. The Goal is to beat at least one opponent by winning the 50 so either you or your tm8 can take a shot.
Everytime you get the ball, focus on just beating one person. Don't focus on the net. Just try to beat the 1st opponent and make it a 2v1.
So, don't make it a 2v1 when on defense. Always make it a 2v1 when on offense.
Honestly if you do those things you cab hit GC no problem. There's people in my lobbies who still don't speed flip or air roll but they are just smart.

That was me when I was trying to hit GC2 for the first time. I was one win away from it, lost to Wayton Pilkin's team, then it took me a whole month to get back and I even went down to C3 along the way. You'll get back there tho I believe

@@Kexxu_username I got a 2v2 guide on the channel with over 36k views that a lot of ppl have said helped them hit new peaks. Also got a video with 10 tips in 10 minutes, so I’d recommend checking both of those out. Seems like it might be a gamesense thing considering you said you’ve practiced the key mechs so those vids will be perfect

However, if ur the former, you're doing absolutely amazing, play 1s aswell and u could possibly hit gc1 by atleast 1k hrs if u work for it.
