I got these sunglasses when they came out on Kickstarter. I was pretty happy with them initially. They were advertised as almost bulletproof...same as in this review. I had them for a few months and didn't wear them regularly.
The plastic frame started to peel and the lens got scratched from me mistakenly dropping them one time on a smooth, hard surface. I'm a busy guy, so I didn't bother reaching out to Kore until recently. They refused to replace them and told me the one-year limited warranty on the sunglasses had expired.
If you're going to advertise a pair of sunglasses using words such as "ballistic," they'd better be just as good in the near and long term. These are definitely NOT. Never again will I buy anything from Kore. Crappy customer service and false advertising don't make for a booming business. Buyer beware.

Yeah, they are currently waiting on the first batch of a new 2.0 version. I've been told they should be in stock any day now.
