We made our way to Queenstown to explore the city while making the rest of our plans for the remaining days of our honeymoon. It was quite rainy but we didn't let that stop us from walking around and...drinking beer...
We drove another 3 hours toward the Milford Sound where tomorrow we will be kayaking. Crossing our fingers the weather doesn't get all crazy!

QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What is your favorite beer drinking place?

6:18 "You guessed it!!" 😂😂 WHAT A CLASSIC that was hysterical
Of course we were going to drink beer 🤣🙈
Should've registered for the 5k marathon, awesome scenery along the way
These videos just get better and better my love. ❤️
Thanks babe.
Stunningly beautiful. So glad you are enjoying. Love the rainbow! Thanks for a great vid.
Thanks, Anna! :)
Stunning! Makes me miss NZ soo much!
I love your profile picture. ;)
Jen the duck magnet. Another awesome video.
Haha I love them all!
And they run on the other side of the road too. The adventure looked great.
Ken Lee Thanks, Ken!
Hi W.W. I particularly enjoy the driving sections of your trips. It reminds me of all the driving I used to do in my younger days and I loved driving in New Zealand. The scenery seemed to change every 20 miles or so, as did the weather. You've really captured the changes in the climate as you go and it's never boring. Although I no longer go on long trips getting near to 85 years, but it's like I'm a passenger in the car enjoying the exploration of my Country all over again and it is a very pleasant journey that I'm sharing with you from the comfort of my home.
I love the driving portions as well!! It is so comforting for me. I am very glad you are enjoying them. 💜
Solid video as usual 👌
Thank you, Tyler!!
If you have kids, this video series will be awesome for them to see. Owen, you are so chilled and just go with the flow brother. Still liking this adventure in our country. Which btw is 30 degree summer at the moment. Sweet as you two.
💜💜💜
It's awesome how well you guys drove on the off side. Pretty town.
John Eason Thanks John! 💜
That's the problem with New Zealand it's cool that we have all these extreme sports but paying the price is another story it's a pity that it's raining because it should be summer as a New Zealander I'm sorry that you've had go through this
Aaaah more rain (insert *sigh* imoji here) Just can't get away from it Jen. You may need to do a rain dance before kayaking. Do it around midnight for best results lol Anyway, you never let a bit of h2o spoil ur fun. Looking forward to the next adventure - *good luck!!*
Hahah thank you, Ben!
You could try the Adventure park in Christchurch. Downhill mountain biking, and NZ's highest/longest zipline.
We actually looked into that! But decided to try something new since we already went zip lining. :)
This is the weirdest Summer I've ever experienced in New Zealand, sorry it's happening to you while you're here! It's so weird to be cold this time of year but hopefully you're enjoying yourselves anyway and come back for a normal Summer sometime :)
We sure did enjoy it!!
Seemed like a fun town.
Sure is!
Well...of course it was goin to be the brewhouse...nice vid Burst...thanks fur sharon...lol...hey did you get a chance to touch base with Mari & Nick ? Lookin forward to your next death defying adventure...stay safe !! 😎
Not in person, unfortunately! Thanks as always, Jimbo!
Enjoying these videos, but miss your pct adventure.
I miss it, too :(
@@JenniferMabus So do I....youre my fav burst !!
My opinion: Kayaking in Milford Sound, yes and so peaceful. White water rafting, yes x2. And a slight contrast from the peacefulness of kayaking don't you think?. Nevis Swing, yes. Better than bungee cos you don't go head first, although I still think they should pay us for doing it! Great adventures even if you missed tasting the Central Otago Pinots and jet boating on the Dart (we'll forgive you, you can't do everything without winning a lottery). Go you two!🍷👍 🍺 👎 😂
Hahahaha thank you, Robin! Next time, you're our tour guide!!
#TeamStarburst Cheers! 🍻
Cheers!!
I'm continually amazed at how completely gorgeous the scenery is there. It's definitely on my bucket list, but unless I get some kind of windfall it's out of my price range! LOL
It really is stunning. But expensive, yes 😂
3:44 The black birds in the water are Australian coots (Fulica atra) a subspecies of the Eurasian coot and are uncommon.
Oh wow! That is pretty cool then. :)
That Black Dog draft looks pretty good. I wonder if you can get it in the States.
I don't mind dark beers, but let me tell you, that beer was AMAZING. If you find they sell it in the States, hit me up. :) Haha
I could enjoy drinking beer anywhere... it depends on whom I'm with..
Agreed!!
Really gorgous country, looks alot like washington.
It does actually!
Similar weather too I think, although my knowledge of Washington is confined to PCT vlogs.
New watcher here, not sure if I'll stay for more then the NZ videos. May I make a tiny suggestion.....some music paired with your B roll shots would make a huge improvement in the watch ability of your videos. Not sure if it's your schtick to have things silent all the time.
Ya, it’s sort of my thing. :) I like the sound of nature and not being distracted by music all the time.
Queenstown still looks over commercialised even now, when I was there 20 +years ago, it was begining to be very busy, just as long as you are having fun & enjoying your trip, that's all that matters.
It was definitely busier than other towns we visited in New Zealand!
Yea its really sad never was like that 10-15 years ago :/ Hammer springs is amazing
@@aidanvanweert993 , Haven't been to Hanmer Springs since 1968, it must be great now?
@@aidanvanweert993 nothing is ever like it was 10-15 years ago. Change is constant, things must adapt and improve. I doubt you're the same as you were 15 years ago and I'd bet to say you wouldn't want to be the same. Such is life.
Whooooa calm down I didn’t say it was bad , just said it’s sad because now people who live in NZ don’t like to go there because it’s over crowded. Do not come for me honey coz I did not send for you !
Sorry it was so raining and cold its not like that now ! its in full summer mode
We still enjoyed it!!
Such a beautiful place! I would have wanted to be on trail 24/7 there.
It is a stunning place!
I wasn't picking on any person !, I was just stating a fact about Queenstown & Hanmer !!
Loli lived there and in wanaka . It aint all that and too many white people. I live on the coast now in the north island. Its way better. My sisters have lived in Queenstown most of their lives. Its way too expensive as well. In the winter time with snow it looks like Switzerland kinda
