He's said, but I don't remember if it was college or a big football high-school. I like him though, I like the different camera angles, he gives his opinions, and thoughts, but he actually shows you why he believes it. Sounds like he likes Flores. Maybe he'll start doing Vikings film, too?
Johnson did what McVay could not accomplish in the SB vs. Patriots. Johnson forced Flores to change his coverage structure. Same QB, different OC, better results. ... But wait, it gets even better. That Goff/Johnson attacked Gilmore in particular with Raymond rises to Dan-Campbell level of revenge. Gilmore was on the Patriots team that the Rams/Goff faced in the SB. If only McVay had used Cooks like Johnson used Raymond. If only McVay had developed Goff like Johnson/Campbell have developed Goff...

Appreciate the quality content. Have been a passionate football and Lions fan for 25 years. As someone who has never played the game the insight that you provide in your breakdowns has been incredible. I thought I knew a decent amount about the game after all these years, yet you have helped me start to grasp the depths of the game. Always exciting when more content drops. Rewatching this vid after match against Rams. As a defensive minded person. I think Brian Flores Defense is amazing. It's interesting for me cuz i think the defense is complex. Thanks for breaking it so avg fans can understand. Vikes defense really bring out the best of their opponents.
I think they can finally put to rest the narrative that coordinators have to take the first job opportunity. Ben Johnson is just as desired now as he was last year or even two years ago. I hope more people wait for the right spot so there is less turnover. The overall product would be better I think.
I was thinking about that Laporta catch with the trips on the opposite side. I think I see Laporta watch the middle defender take the bait before going inside and maybe if the defender didn’t take the bait he goes to the outside or something else. I would not be surprised if the midfielder is the cue for where the play goes.
Yes, I believe there's specific read on each coverage. Lions always well prepared on each game. Now that u mention laPorta reading the middle defender. I agree with u. Cuz BJ send st brown short mid. To stretch that area.
Hey Coach, I'm wondering if the way you handle linemen dropping into coverage is just to throw away from the release? Almost the opposite side of the same coin when you throw into the direction of the blitz

it felt like because Ben Johnson is such an unpredictable play caller, it forced Brian Flores to show fewer disguises and let Goff play his game.
