It's always confusing to go downhill on ERG mode - at least for me, my brain tries to make me relax a little, while the ERG mode keeps the pressure up :P (writing this while you were going down the Grade :) ) I'm also planning to try this, will be interesting to see how it goes (just for a chance to win a bike :P too old and fat to start racing :D ) - and I hope you do the remaining stages as well :)
Did this one - very tough workout for sure. Also, the 30-second sprint section bumped my Zwift Racing Score way up. It's not often I'm able to hit a 30-second sprint on reasonably fresh legs - usually gassed at the end of a race - but now the Zwift racing algorithm thinks I can do this all the time 😂 Sprinting aside, the last 15-minute section was definitely the roughest part after all the fatigue built up in the prior sections of the workout.

@@RideWithGerben my goal was to match the 10-minute power but knowing it was going to be different going from ERG to Free ride. I had a dip after 10 minutes but then realized I was in the wrong gear. I shifted up one gear which got me in a higher cadence and by the time I finished I was within 2w of the 10-minute power. If you really pay attention to all of Zwift's cadence driven workouts, the best cadence is 85-100 rpm. Once I adapted to that I went from A to A+ cat.

Yes! That 15 minute part was brutal. I struggled to get the pacing right on that one. 😩

I did this one yesterday...it's a brutal workout. Whom ever does well in these tests will be deserving of a spot in the academy finals!
