Marie Curie is a role model for women. Her EQ and AQ were as high as her IQ. Albert Einstein's ex-wife was the top mathematics student in his class. Thank you for not giving up. You are an idol I look up to you. You give mr strength ….. 🌺
Dr. Curie would be very impressed with current imaging technology and research. A giant in very many respects.
Yeah, she's famous in our country. But I don't think that she sacrifice her own life to research and study it. Very admirable.
Sweden mathematician saves the day
Btw:it was also a swedish person who invented Celcius to now heat levels
A high school in Chicago, Illinois was named after Marie Curie
Great people have 1% inspiration n 99% perspiration!!
To be fair, I never thought her feats were that amazing. The humanitarian efforts are way cooler, to me.
She got rejected many times from many opportunities due to her gender.. but despite of that she managed to get 2 Nobels and various other achievements... what a brave lady she was!! Respect.
Albert Einstein's letter to her made me cry. I'm thankful such man existed in this world.
V don't say it simply that Einstein was ahead of his time
Albert Einstein wasn’t a good man maybe a genius scientist but certainly not a good human read his biography by walter isaacson he was really sexist too
He also cheated on his wife and had multiple affairs. He should be praised for his genius. Nothing else

There are way too many female inventors who are forgotten. Thank god so many people know her because she is amazing. I find it so sweet that her daughter also won a nobel prize.

If a genius like Marie Curie (the first to win 2 Nobel prizes) was almost denied a Nobel prize because she was a *"woman"* I can imagine tens of women were *"actually"* denied the prize because of the same reason. and we don't know about them.
Really breaks my heart.
Madam Curie and Tesla are my favorite scientists. They both were very selfless and dedicated to the science and humanity and way ahead of their time. They both suffered a lot and didn't cared about any money. True heroes.
Tesla was so underrated and its sad they he did not get the credit he deserved until he died as he was robbed
Yep, it doesn't sit right with me that they had to deal with all that bullshit from other people though.
It’s Maria Skłodowska-Curie, not just curie. She was Polish. She was using her first last name, not her husband’s.
Exactly!
She was married to Pierre so accepted his surname and from that moment was ONLY Marie Curie. She signed many documents with M.Curie and yes sometimes she made exceptions signing M. Sklodowska - Curie. I wouldn't imagine my mother singing papers with her maiden name too. Please check before posting.
@@paul_456_5 she married him but she didn’t want to take the name, she had to. She used Skłodowska, she always did.

Marie Skladowska-Curie. Don't forget the polish last name she originally had, she was born and raised in Poland and you can't just cut it out with only mentioning her husband's last name
Was looking for this comment. I'd be mad if someone disrespected my own name choice. If she wanted to keep ties to Poland, we have no right to remove it.
The same country which denied her education.

@@paul_456_5 can you respect Poles please? Just respect us and use the full name. Is it that difficult or painful to you? I won't argue with someone who doesn't respect history and its people, there's no point in that, but please just stop for a minute and think why it's such a problem to respect her and her nation's wishes. The fact that she left her maiden name is enough of a wish really. Just have some humility, if it was a western country everyone would remember to do it if they were asked to. Ever heard of Jada Pinket-Smith or Helena Bonham-Carter? 40 milion people ask you to use her full name and you just know better...

Marie Curie is a role model for women. Her EQ and AQ were as high as her IQ. Albert Einstein's ex-wife was the top mathematics student in his class. He understood why women should not be underestimated. Marie Curie said she was taught that the way of progress was neither swift nor easy, and we can tell how humble and down-to-earth she was. Moreover, she and her husband did not exploit chances to get rich, they were selfless and lived for science and mankind. They deserve our deepest admiration and gratitude.
10:36 "She declined."
You show 'em, Marie.
In a way Marie Curie’s death brought attention that long time exposure to radioactive materials was extremely dangerous and started to make people start wearing protection when handling them.
So Even in her death she saved millions of lives by giving the attention to wear protective clothes while handling radioactive stuff✨
The kind of feminism we should admire. Strong woman not caring about what world thinks about her. Worth showing it over a movie.
