- I have no clue what to call this; but, it's arguably an "inverted colander" that results in a tunnel/portal.... Suggestions for a better name?

The smooth flowing colors in the center juxtaposed against the outside crinkled colors creates a mesmerizing visual texture.
❤❤❤❤ LOVE IT
I love the flow of the ink
I know you don't like the white, but I see it sort of like a painting. The white reminds me of a bright area of interest. The whole thing looks absolutely fantastic!
It is so cool looking it looks like clouds right after a rainstorm
Brilliant!
Inter-Galactic Wormhole!👽
I like this alot. It makes me think of space/ sci-fi - the scrunch is the static space and the center vertical dyes look like you're entering warp speed. Very cool.
It kinda reminds me of a waterfall draining into a hole….very fluid and interesting. ❤️
That’s what I was trying to put into words, but somehow got tongue-tied. Heh
That is badass I can't wait to try this
Lovely! Gr8 result !
What a great Idea, TY awesome videos!!
I love it. I am amazed at how we're changing tie dye.
You could always fill in that white spot with watery dye, soda ash and a paint brush.
I've been known to "fix" the white issues when something is still batching; but, after I've washed it out, it feels like "cheating" to change it.
I wonder if there’s a way to add a twist into it as it drips down… but I love this idea and plan to try it!
Almost looks like a photograph of ice cream melting!
That looks so cool. I would love this using red, blue and yellow.
I love this one. I like the white! Gives it dimension. I don't care for the one dark color on the bottom left. Cool shirt!
I really think this looks cool. I love the colors choice as well. Definitely some of my favorite colors!😃
this pattern has so much potential! it could look like a worm hole if the center was dyed black. I'm going to try this one for sure. great idea
I really like it. I also like the white space, it gives it a bit of contrast.
This is really cool! I would call it the vortex
It's very dreamscape ☁️
I really like how it came out, design and colors too! Try another with purples and red/pinks, yellow too? Thanks for another great video!
Whoa, turned out super cool! It's like a flow portal!
love this! i will have to try it myself
I see a petunia flower. Gorgeous!!!
I absolutely LOVE this! The white streaks make me think of a waterfall (well, more like a negative waterfall? Sort of like a whirlpool without the vortex.) Oh, just ignore me-it looks great, and I’m looking forward to giving this method a shot.
I have been dying for years and this is one of the coolest one yet I will bee trying for sure 10 🌟
My friend recently got a cricut, and I designed a white vinyl decal to apply to a white shirt, so I could tie dye it. I wasn't quite sure how I was going to dye it, though, until I saw this video! I'll be using pinks and purples, and my shirt is currently batching from using a -super- pale pink to make sure there's no white. Thanks for being so creative 😊
Cool technique. I kept seeing an abstract flower or alternative color wheel. 👍🏻🌼
Your color palette is so good... even your experiments turn out fantastic. I have made a few of your sashes.. they turned out great!! Thanks for the hard work great videos!!
So good to see you here again! I really like this one - - it's giving me "anti-colander spiral" vibes LOL!!
This is a pretty idea. Thank you for sharing. I am going to try it.
Very cool. I see the white as well but the rest of the shirt is eye catching and you don't really notice unless your looking for it. Peace
That is very cool!
I like how you experiment and show the results.
Once again you blew my mind! Awesome, creative and beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing and teaching. 😁
Wow that is really awesome...love it🥰 It looks like a petuna flower.
Looks fantastic... Thank You!
That looks amazing! I love it!!
I wonder what it would look like if you were able to twist the inside part by the marble
This is so cool!! It reminds me of Dr Who from the 80s on PBS. I was only in the single digits in age when that aired, but I absolutely loved Dr Who
Amazon Prime had all of the Dr. Who series available up until some time this year. Now, everything is available on HBO Max -- if you're interested in watching it again/catching up to the latest season.
@@CasualCollisions thanks. I'll have to check it out
Beautiful as ever ❤️
That is an amazing looking shirt! Thanks for all your videos!
That looks awesome!! Going to have to build a rig to try this, very cool! Would be pretty neat to give it a twist too :)
this is the best
I used the template but a little differently and it came out great
Liked it. Just like a blooming flower, “Poinsettia”….
Very nice
I love it
Spectacular!
I like it a lot
That is bad ass!!!
I really love this!!
I love it. Very cool.
I’ve made three of these so far my hubster loves this design! I messed up two, one a clean ice cube fell into the hole so I thought no big deal. Yes it was and left marks in the center. The second a cube with dye must of fallen and left speckles on the center . I had it inside out and of course it was on the front🤦🏻♀️. I am making more but will have the back of the shirt facing up incase of any problems. Maybe a single layer of ice will only work no stacking?
I think I will try it with just different shades of blue.
Wow love it 🥰
Do you think it would be possible to get some kind of design like this on a pair of canvas shoes? I did do a shirt similar to that and it's a gift for my sister and I wanted to make shoes to match
ලස්සන අදහසක්. ස්තූතියි
If it’s the front where the white is put a decal design on it to cover it
Cool. Just one question. Where did the green come from?
It looks cool 😎 love the colors. One question what is the purpose of the marble?
Is the marble to weight down the center so the two layers don’t separate and the color will permeate both at the same time?
How about the same setup only hot water instead of ice?
looks a lot like a hibiscus flower
Can you try it with the dye underneath the ice?
If you used a plastic board with a hole instead of cardboard, how do you think it would impact this design?
Cardboard allows absorption which can lead to "blobs" of color so the use of plastic may work better.
so ice dye must not sit and batch for 24 to 48 hours?
How long before you rinsed it?
Woooowwwwww…. 👏🏼
Thanks!
What is the purpose of the marble?
Watch your video and I'm trying this technique now I'll see if you're on Facebook and I'll post the pictures there if not I'll just come here and let you know verbally how it turned out. ✌️

So cool!!
