My take on this if it were a mod. - The map is CTF_2Fooooooooort ( that really long extended version of 2Fort ) - While I know it’s been patched up and having Solider rocket jumping to chase Scour is all cool. I think it would be really funny if he was instead chasing Scout by using the BASE Jumper while on fire ( Which used it to let Soldier just hover forever for some reason. ). Dialogue: ( Scene opens up with Scout running. Carrying the Intelligence. ) “Man, I haven’t seen any Reds for miles! This map sure is long…” ( Blu Demoknight appears, charging in. ) *”LETSSSS DO THISSSS!!”* “What the?! Is that…cyclops!?”” ( Singing commences. Eventually Demoman trips and Scout is able to escape. ) “Looks like SOMEBODY should lay off the beer for a while!” ( Soldier pops into frame ) “Yo moron! You listening to me!? I stole your stupid crap!” “GAAAH! I’ll show you why you shouldn’t bring a baseball bat to war son! HAHAHAHA!” ( Singing commences again. Scout speeds up ) ( Part way through Blu Demoknight can be see flying the background by a trimp. Eventually Scout outruns Soldier. ) “Whoohoohoo! Drink it in pal! That’s how failure tast-“ ( Scout is cut off and screams as his head is chopped off by the Blu Demoknight. Who was winding up the “Eyelander Taunt” in front of him while he was distracted taunting Soldier. )
I think the infinite hover used to be because solider/demo being on fire created "updrift" like a hot air balloon, and then the feature got later removed due to being too oddly spezific to achieve
@Michael Plays Games Yes but its called the Eyelander Taunt because of the fact the Eyelander was the first sword in the game and thus introduced the taunt
I also imagine soldier popping in and out of frame whole singing, being in the background and only visible during his jump, hidden by the terrain while he's starting another jump, only the explosions visibles as they propel him back on frame until he falls off of the frame again and repeating the process he could fire rockets at the scout at the height of his jump which could be like a mine note gimmick or something.
thats so cool that he uses the baby face to go faster, demo using eyelander's speed buff to keep up, and soldier using gun boats to take less damage. would make a little more sense to use the rocket jumper, but then you wouldnt get those cool explosions.

as a scout main, this is truly me on the regular basis, even the part where he just gets randomly headshot by a sniper who somehow tracks you down when you're going 100 miles per minute
I used to be a Medic main and Now I'm a sniper main because I got tired of those scout who always flanks and kills me so I started headshotting them until the point where they call me cheater and kick me lol It's surprisingly easier to kill scouts compared to others and engineers being the 2. Easiest

As Demo's part ends he should start chasing a different red member (since like the original song, Demo should pass Scout during Soldier's part) Soldier is using the Base jumper (or other rocket damage reducing guns) and using the Conch to heal, as his part plays, Demo (who now has more heads) charges ahead of Scout (genuinely charging, not simply because he's fast) Then after the song ends (offscreen) Demo turns around, and charges again...you know the rest from there

I thought demo would get drunk and Trip when his section ended and I also thought soldiers would blow up at the end of his section, like a failed rocket jump and scout would get taunt killed by demo who used the sticky jumper to get ahead of scout

Concept for soldier's part: First of all scout and soldier's icons would be split rather than always head to head and the health bar would be treated as distance. In TF2 the way that the gun (babyface's blaster) scout is using works is when you shoot the enemy with it you gain a boost in speed, this is lost when you take too much damage. So the idea is occasionally soldier would hit you with a rocket causing you to lose your speed, causing distance/health drain. Soldier's icons would be locked in the middle unless scout shoots him but more on that later. When you hit a note you gain a speed charge and scout plays an animation shooting soldier with the blaster, when your speed meter is at a 1 note charge you no longer lose hp but you cannot gain hp either, when you get 2 you get about 1/3 of the normal health from a note, once you're at 3 charges you get full health out of notes. Hitting a blaster note will temporarily knock soldier back a bit from the middle before slowly catching up, blaster notes would be brown tinted. (OLD VERSION) Concept for soldier's part: Soldier will occasionally hit you causing you to get closer to lose speed meaning you slowly lose health and hitting notes hardly does anything, the health bar would be reduced to half during this segment of the song, after being shot a special brown tinted note will appear that when hit causes you to shoot the soldier pushing him back a bit temporarily and allowing you to gain the normal amount of health from notes. TDLR: Soldier shoots sometimes and you need to hit 1-3 special notes to stop health drain and regain your health.
All the small details for these animations are amazing, the Eylander to keep up with scout, the baby face's blaster to go even faster for scout, the gunboats for soldier so he can rocket jump like that without dying, though the rocket jumper would have worked too, the gunboats feel more asthetically fitting.
Imagine if this is a real mod, in the second part the player would have to not miss or else the scout would 'take damage' and slow down, which the soldier would market garden him. A lot of good ideas here
i love the details in this cover there is just one thing missing demoman does not have his eye glowing showing he has 3 heads but in over all its amazing
POV to add to urs: Your entire team is dead and they're counting on you to win this match as the entire BLU team is chasing you, but the BLU DemoKnight and BLU Soldier are able to chase you down faster then the rest of the team.

Yeah this all makes sense because they are both ever so slightly faster than scout at max speed at the end of the day (speaking of rollouts n stuff in most maps)
THIS is what vs Mann co should’ve been, actually unique uses of things, like dude Demo is using his eyelander to catch up to scout since it’s fast enough if not faster than scout’s base speed, then Scout switches to baby face’s blaster to outrun Soldier which is rocket jumping with gunboats, and at the end Scout gets headshotted by either a try hard comp sniper or a stinky bot.
I was thinking for the transition phases since this is really fleshed out, right before the soldier part demo charges and slams a wall that the scout jumps over, then [Demoman bid farewell, cruel world] appears as the soldier section starts the scout shoots a random class off to the side for the speed, around the point furnace dashes under the map in prey have Demo do a 8 bomb sticky jump with a medic ubering him and using the parachute off the front of the screen, then at the end of the song he’d run into a sticky trap, better yet have him holding the intel too 😂
Dialogue idea for anyone wanting to add it lol "Crap, i haven't seen any ammo packs all round! and where's the rest of the damn team? Wait... who the hell's screaming?" *Demoknight charge yelling*

When you hit a note you gain a speed charge and scout plays an animation shooting soldier with the blaster, when your speed meter is at a 1 note charge you no longer lose hp but you cannot gain hp either, when you get 2 you get about 1/3 of the normal health from a note, once you're at 3 charges you get full health out of notes. Hitting a blaster note will temporarily knock soldier back a bit from the middle before slowly catching up, blaster notes would be brown tinted.
(OLD VERSION) Concept for soldier's part: Soldier will occasionally hit you causing you to get closer to lose speed meaning you slowly lose health and hitting notes hardly does anything, the health bar would be reduced to half during this segment of the song, after being shot a special brown tinted note will appear that when hit causes you to shoot the soldier pushing him back a bit temporarily and allowing you to gain the normal amount of health from notes.
TDLR: Soldier shoots sometimes and you need to hit 1-3 special notes to stop health drain and regain your health.

All the small details for these animations are amazing, the Eylander to keep up with scout, the baby face's blaster to go even faster for scout, the gunboats for soldier so he can rocket jump like that without dying, though the rocket jumper would have worked too, the gunboats feel more asthetically fitting.

Yeah this all makes sense because they are both ever so slightly faster than scout at max speed at the end of the day

THIS is what vs Mann co should’ve been, actually unique uses of things, like dude Demo is using his eyelander to catch up to scout since it’s fast enough if not faster than scout’s base speed, then Scout switches to baby face’s blaster to outrun Soldier which is rocket jumping with gunboats, and at the end Scout gets headshotted by either a try hard comp sniper or a stinky bot.
I was thinking for the transition phases since this is really fleshed out, right before the soldier part demo charges and slams a wall that the scout jumps over, then [Demoman bid farewell, cruel world] appears as the soldier section starts the scout shoots a random class off to the side for the speed, around the point furnace dashes under the map in prey have Demo do a 8 bomb sticky jump with a medic ubering him and using the parachute off the front of the screen, then at the end of the song he’d run into a sticky trap, better yet have him holding the intel too 😂
Scout mains after drinking bonk be like:
Dialogue idea for anyone wanting to add it lol "Crap, i haven't seen any ammo packs all round! and where's the rest of the damn team? Wait... who the hell's screaming?" *Demoknight charge yelling*
