Tons of credit to ya. Jeff’s my favorite wrestler of all time so I’m a little biased, But those 2008-2009 Jeff promos are my all time favorites.
As a Jeff Hardy fan since 1999 I'm so happy he got the championship and it's good to know you believed in him, and contributed and supported him so much to reach the top.

What a gem. Cant believe I hadnt come across this. Zoomer here. Youve heard it a million times but this story was my whole childhood. As a grown man now with his own addiction struggles this story hits even more now. Cant say thank you enough for standing up to HHH and co. They never like seeing things through and creating those moments anymore!

Jeff deserved it and Hunter sounds like a real pansy
Honestly, it feels he hated any babyface that was perceived to be “cooler” than he is, which is most of the top to mid card faces during the RA era
@@BrockSamsonVB yea also Jeff never worked out, and Hunter even said Jeff is the guy who doesn’t look like the type to deserve it, based on him not being a “body guy”.
Image being HHH and how hard he kills it in the gym, and a skinnier dude like Jeff gets over more than him simply because he’s cool, and a daredevil. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve met Jeff and he’s got good muscle tone, but he’s kind of got a dad bod thing. Kinda muscled, kinda fat, but still skinny compared to other wrestlers.
Oh and don’t forget Jeff can’t cut a promo to save his life, and people still liked him better than Hhh, who is arguably one of the best at promos 😂.
@@frusciantegeartone for sure even at his best promos in 08-09 he wasn’t great by any means but there’s a difference between manufactured cheers and genuine cheers from the crowd
@@frusciantegeartone People likes jeff because he has natural charisma who other wrestler doesnt have. He doesnt need to cut 20 mins promos like HHH to get over. Jeff got over just by being himself. He didnt need to pander kids or have a Super Cena push, doing backstage politics like HHH or catering a bunch of smark neckbeards who loves CM Punk or Daniel Bryan that hijack the show just to get over. He doesnt need belt to get matter. He is an organic babyface. There are only few wrestler has it. RVD is the one. Few wrestlers have it and others dont.
