I absolutely love your enthusiasm, it is all about the anticipation. It doesn’t matter if you don’t win “wildlife photographer of the year”…. It’s all about being in the moment and most of all, enjoying yourself. Your infectious attitude is inspiring.
I loved your insight into your frustration with how the shots just didn't happen for you this trip. When I started to do wildlife photography, I quickly learned that sometimes I needed to be open to what nature presented to me vs. what I wanted nature to present to me. When I made that switch, it transformed how I think about nature and wildlife photography. Dare I say, it transformed it from photography to an act of prayer. I absolutely LOVED your seal footage! Excellent music choice to pair with the sleepy seal!
Thank you! And yes, i think it’s always good to be honest and open. At the end of day, it’s nature and it does what it does which is beautiful and because of that it doesn’t always work which is ok. I loved what you said about your mindset on photography and nature, it is so true and the best way to go about it. The transformation from photography to an act or prayer is really beautiful and keep hold of that because it is so true. Thank you, the sleepy seal is proof that sometimes you get these special moments and other times you should just sit and enjoy it. Thank you again ☺️🙏🏻
Du machst Deine Filme und Fotos in so einer schönen Qualität, da können mache Profis von Dir lernen. Bei Dir spürt man so viel Freude und Leidenschaft ❤ es macht Freude Deine Beiträge zu sehen und zu entspannen.
Thank you Juliette, this is very lovely! I always smile when I read your comments because it’s so lovely to see another female photographer on here. Thank you ☺️🙏🏻
Victoria You are the definitive proof worldwide of what Fujifilm and the telephotozoom 150 to 600 can achieve for everyone lowing nature and photography. I must Say Ím learning nature and bird phothografing more and more being very inspirered by Your footage and Your wonderful videos! As always Victoria - eager to see the next one!
Wow, thank you for this! so lovely to read! I most certainly won't stop and it is lovely comments like this that make it all worth while, thank you ☺️ 🙏
The boat trip out has now been added to my list, I spend a week or so up that way every couple of years. The coastline with miles and miles of quiet almost deserted beaches is so good for the soul.
This is so good! It is a lovely place to spend some time, I was there for 2 weeks and loved it. Just so peaceful and as you say, miles of quiet beaches - perfect 🙂
Dear Victoria, as I am in the process of buying the Fuji 150-600mm lens, I came across your UA-cam channel. Regardless of the content you present professionally, I like your refreshing manner. There are so many boring reviews where you have trouble not falling asleep. I love your style, which comes across as refreshing and authentic. ...and on top of that, you are presented with such wonderful photographs.
I did not know that Puffins could fly so fast. I was just grateful that I was able to get a few in my viewfinder as they zoomed past. Erik still rock's on camera.
Hands down best seal cinematography I’ve ever seen. Truly a joy to witness! And while you didn’t say ‘whoa!’ for some of your razorbill and puffin shots, I certainly did! Love the format and work. ❤
Muchas gracias por tus videos,. estoy comenzando y al ver muchos videos tuyos me an dado mucha inspiración de la manera que los haces , eres genial! un salado! 👍🏼 💓
Thank youuu! I think the seal was my favourite part, it was just completely unexpected and wonderful to see. Thank you for watching and feeling the joy ☺️
You sealed it again Victoria.😂 Such a great place and the weather was Farne.😳😎 it was also lovely to see Eric enjoying himself as well. Going to Puffin myself up for your next video. 👍😂😂
Hehehe 🤣 loved the puns! Thank you and yes the Farnes are beautiful! I feel I always need to add a little bit of Erik in as he is very special too. Hehe don’t puff yourself up too much 😂
Victoria, you are quite a good cinematographer and overall story teller, I always look forward to watching your youtube videos. I currently shoot with another camera brand, but your videos have me considering picking up a fuji system. I think Fujifilm would be wise to pick you up as an ambassador for their brand, because you represent their camera systems so well. Thanks for sharing.
Your energy is infectious! Your photography and videography stunning. I just came across your videos and am now hooked! New sub from me! Looking forward to more videos
Congratulations on the filming. Is it hot in the Farne Islands? Judging by your slightly light clothing... A question: why don't you bring the monopod that makes you easier and more stable the 150-600 instead of using it freehand? But isn't there a hotel on those islands that frees you from the constraint of 1 hour of stay? Sorry for my bad English.
Thank you very much and you have good English! It isn’t always hot but as it is now spring the weather is getting nicer and that was a particularly how day - plus i am a very warm person! I do have a gimbal head mount (which I took on my last trip) but I didn’t take it this time as there wasn’t enough room in my bag (which was already heavy) and the actual use of it on the island is a bit tricky especially with limited time - if you were there you would understand what I means, it’s hard to explain but I took my tripod anyway and used that. The island is a nature reserve so no one can stay on it, apart from rangers looking after the birds. I hope this helps!
It's funny I thought of you and then I saw this video after I saw the culprit woodpecker that took down a huge tree in my backyard cut it literally in half. It was a pileated woodpecker he was beautiful and huge almost 2 ft tall. He flew right next to my garage like 10 ft for me but I couldn't get my camera out fast enough to take a picture.

Brilliant. The seal shots was fantastic , loved the relaxed nature. All fabulous.
Your posts are such a joy, the seal is a happy soul! "And tell me grey seal how does it feel to be so wise" .... thank you so much
Thank you, how lovely ☺️ i think you are right, that was a very happy soul of a seal! Hehe looked very wise and that it had experienced life 🙂
That seal is well worth a subscribe! Fabulous film of this lovely creature!
Some would say it sealed the deal (😅 sorry I love a pun!). Thank you very much ☺️🙏🏻 🦭

The pictures with the birds are amazing but I love these with the seal at the beginning - really stunning! 🤩
Thank you so much! and yes, that seal was a wonderful surprise! 🦭

Wow, thank you for this! so lovely to read! I most certainly won't stop and it is lovely comments like this that make it all worth while, thank you ☺️ 🙏
Stunning footage and photos, as always. Capturing the wonderful characteristics of these beautiful animals, just as you did with the bears. Awesome.
Thank you for this, it’s really lovely to read. I just really love capturing the details of nature 🙂🙏🏻

Great stuff. My silver X100VI finally showed up. 23mm not exactly a wildlife lens… but I’m really liking the new film simulation
Well the 23mm is great for loads of stuff and i’m sure you’ll make the most of it! 🙂
Your energy is infectious! Your photography and videography stunning. I just came across your videos and am now hooked! New sub from me! Looking forward to more videos
Thank you very much for this and welcome aboard to the Wild side 😎

Beautiful captured footage and images as usual. You have such a unique style and such an infectious nature which I adored.
❤

Aw this is lovely! I am sorry you couldn’t get a picture of the woodpecker but it sounded like a whole fun ordeal! - maybe not for the tree though 😄
How does the lens compare with the 100-400? Thanks
It is definitely an upgrade for clarity and filming but not so much for aperture and compatibility, overall a great lens though
Beautiful video!
Thank you ☺️
Great work!
Thank you ☺️
