Thank you so much. I love this Chinese version. “Ikanaide” the original was sung by Koji Tamaki. The song is about Yoshiko Yamaguchi a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan. She became famous in China. However, once the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy and put on trial but eventually was set free and deported to Japan and lived a long and peaceful life.
