Removing a pine with the help of a knuckle boom crane

- This pine was much faster to climb and bomb out the branches and then rig out 14' logs with the crane. The drop-zone was nice and easy to hit as it was the customers driveway. It always goes quicker when there is a crane to help
Listening to this while I drive a hour to work this morning.
Best tree guys I’ve ever witnessed. Hire them if u don’t want any damage or injury. The best by far. Totally professional. 👍👍
Yep😊
Thanks
You have nerves of steel and lots of courage. You have my admiration young man. Thank you and stay safe.
I appreciate that, and I certainly try
No he had some little kids at home that needs fed. Some people will do what it takes to feed them these day. But then there is the ones that would let Uncle Sam do it
Amazing work , what a difference when the right tools are used , hats off . Alfred NYC/ PR
Looked like everyone had a job to do and they all knew exactly what they were doing. Hats off to the sawyer!!!! All I can say is WOW
This was a demonstration of skill and precision work done as a team. It was a joy to watch how quickly you all accomplished the job of take my down these trees. CONGRATULATIONS!
God bless you all and keep you safe. Dennis K.
Great job! Made me queasy watching this. Never had that problem in my youth but as you get older and lose that fearlessness things change. 😂 My first house i found a set of spikes and harness and climbed tree's in my yard and repelled down them for fun. My neighbors thought I was nuts. I can't do it today. Once I get above 20' weird things happen in my brain 😂 Great reminder too how much you can do with a short bar. Nobody needs a king kong saw. Props to the crane operator. Nice work all around
Thanks
Impressive teamwork using a knuckle boom crane to safely remove a pine tree.
UA-cam is great for teaching us DIYers how to do things. Cutting down tall trees ain't one of 'em. YIKES!
Yea definitely something to leave to the professionals
Nice work! I really enjoyed that! It reminded me of my younger days.
Love your work and never get sick watching your videos hours and hours. ❤ love from Pakistan. Keep up the good work 😊
Thanks
Well executed, well done. Enjoyed the ride. 👍👍
Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it
I used to do the same thing back in my 30s 20s and 30s that is very dangerous work and you got to know what you're doing and your butt tieing an your cuts and a damn good song and some good tree hooks always have your safety belt an good rope
That was amazing!,,,,,,Ive never seen that before. That man doing the cutting was a talent. He was good !!!👍👍
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it
Your the man you could not pay me enough to get up there
Thanks
Nice job dude. 😊
Thanks 😁
That was impressive. God bless you, I could never do that. I got dizzy when you were in the top of that tree.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks 👍
Loved his safety routine
Sweet tree and ya did it fast. Those pines are my favorite. I can deal with sap in the spring over these wide oaks. Safely done in my book
Oh yea for sure. Could have been a bit better on comms with the ground guy, but other then that it went great
Awesome job brother
Thanks 👍

OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!😲😲😲😲😲 Amazing work!!!
Thanks
At one time I saw the blade touching the orange safety belt , scary if it goes off , really amazing to watch , great work.
Job well done men go have you a good cold beer now
Love these videos. Must admit though that I was nervous the entire time seeing that rope with as frayed as it is. That thing looks like its shelf life has been stretched to its limits.
I'm glad you enjoyed. The frayed rope is simply a rope cover on a steel core. It has since been replaced at the time that this tree was cut down I was waiting on the placement to arrive.
@@ReallyTallTreeGuy Keep the awesome videos coming bro. Stuff like this is my ASMR. I climb poles for a living, so I know all about gaffing and using safety equipment.
Awesome job keep up the good work my brother

My wife’s first husband was a tree trimmer. If he had Chosen a safer occupation I’d still be single.
Nice

Baffled why the homeowner didn’t let you flop on the yard. Soil repair is a lot cheaper than heavy machinery, by the hour! Lol. Merica!
I can't answer that, but it was definitely an easier cleanup with the heavy machinery
otimo trabalho profissional
What a nice tall straight tree Wonder why they took it down.
It was definitely nice. They were expanding their driveway, so that tree and a fee other small ones had to go
I love your channel Hey with love from Denmark, i do stump grinding and have a ms660 with a 28" bar on it to cut stumps at ground levelup to 4 feet wide, and it flex to much so sometimes it get stuck and have to pull out my 357xp with 18" bar to help the 660, can you recoment a sav and a bar size, because 660 with the bar and chain is beginning to be a little heavy
Typically when I use a 660. I have a 36 inch bar on it, and I haven't noticed the bar flexing that much. It might be that the bar is just old or you need to file down the burs on each side of it. If the 660 is heavy, then the next best thing I would recommend would be a 500i with either a 28" or a 32" bar on it.
I'm glad you're enjoying the videos
heart jumped in my throat a few times for the ground guys lol
Yeah, I should have either made it more clear that I was dropping branches, or looked before I started cutting. Definitely on me, but luckily no one got hurt
😂😂😂same here
Fascinating stuff!
Dumb question. Going up, is the orange rope your only safety or is there some sort of backup I'm not seing? Looks like there is a certain risk you might accidentally cut that rope or a falling branch might rip it.
Thanks.
The orange rope has a steel wire in the middle of it to prevent me from easily cutting through it
Awesome. I used to do that years ago and I still remember vividly how much I didn't like it when you cut out the top and sometimes the stub waves back-and-forth. Lordy I hated that. Hats off to a very professional climber.
I like the part 2 when he got a lift up by the bone save him a climb
I love pine trees 🙁
Yikes! That saw blade comes way too close to his rope that holds him to the tree! He must be safe. I haven't a clue about doing this stuff!
The rope that is holding me to the tree is a steelcore flipline. It has a steel cable on the inside of it, which makes it difficult to cut through
That's good info! Like I said I really didn't know about your biz! Stay safe!
Man be careful that you don’t Nick that rope slinging that saw all around!
I try to avoid it
Que pinheiro alto em?
Ain't no way
He wayyy up there and I'm scared FOR him
Just curious if that pine fell on the house were would the top of it land on the house?
It would be most of the way across the roof
Que valiente....
Thanks
Incorrect use of a chainsaw as a hammer
great video and job well done BUT where are your radio coms with the ground guys no way they can hear you from up there with chipper going thought you were going to hit them a couple of times better communication with the ground crew def need some sort of radio link, you have a lot of bottle :)
Thank you, and yeah, absolutely. It was definitely my fault and my mistake. I should have checked before I cut comma we didn't have calms because one of the batteries was dead. They certainly cannot hear even with just my soul running, they can't hear me.
Славик, я очкую!
Thanks
Awesome job, what kind of stihl saw is this?
Thanks
The smaller one is an ms201tc the larger one is a ms462 rcm
@@ReallyTallTreeGuy 👍👍
Why are some of the branches removed in one piece and others in two pieces - even tho they are virtually the same size?
Chazman
I was trying to make it a but easier on the ground guy, so that he wouldn't have to fight to get the branches to the chipper
hadir supotr lur semangat
comprend pour quoi il les attaches les petite branches ?????????
So why is the ground man not paying attention to the tree man? I work with my brother who is a arborist and I, and we both have communication skills
There was a lot of noise and it was difficult to hear when I was cutting. I should have checked before dropping the branches as well
An thats how it is done
You are very dialed on your pine removals
Yea I definitely remove a good few of them
Idk….frayed little rope and a hot blade getting tossed around, seems like safety is the 4th priority here
The frayed rope here is a steelcore flipline, so it is fairly difficult to cut through
At one time he almost knocked out the guy at the bottom, close call .
Accidentally cutting that rope which is holding you up? You need something better than that?
only one safety strap??????
What was the height of this tree? Why chipping?
It was around 75'. We chipped what we could because it is easier to get rid of the chips, and we can fit more material into the truck
Nice cutting the usable lumber . Most of the cuter channels jus wast the wood
Replace your frayed rope
The rope is for grip and to protect ya from the cable. The steel is your life support not the 2mm rope around the cable.
MA QUANTA È ALTA L'ALBERO DI PINO🌲 ?CIAO 👍👏👏👏
