This guy (as almost everything in HnK) was the inspiration for one of Saint Seiya's character: Crystal Saint, and the name "Ryuuga" sounds pretty similar to Hyoga
I like Arc Sys, but it was a dumb of them not to include this character in the HNK fighting game. A char using iced based attacks would have made for an interesting playing style(Similar to Kenshin in Sengoku Basara X).

Normally anyone with a Taizan style is fist-fodder meant to make Kenshiro (or someone else like Juuza) look cool. Ryuga and Uighur are the only Tazanshi Kenpo users who aren't complete weaklings.
When he said only criminals are killed I hope only meant violent and irredeemable ones such as rapists and murderers. There's a difference between being a criminal and being evil.

14 years ago this was posted - 2008. Back then i didn't think i'd live to see society devolve to the point where criminals get to run free under twisted moral virtues and a cartoonish sense of vigilantly justice and punishment should be enacted.
I guess it's a little different when you're actually doing the killing versus observing it. Kenshiro was watchin Ryuuga just kill a bunch of screaming dudes and was probably all 'damn, is that what I look like when I'm murdering a bunch of thugs? I kind of look like a bully'.

I swear a number of martial artists within Fist of the North Star could run a kitchen operating as a synchronized team. from farm to table they could utterly butcher and dismantle a cow or another animal ready for cooking within minutes if not seconds.

Unlike Hokuto and Nanto, which are sacred traditions that go beyond just the ability to fight, Taizan is the type of martial art that is used to serve greedy, and sinful people. They're basically immoral, super powered, and unstoppable hitmen. Like imagine if you're a politician and some guy just pokes your lawyer and he has a heart attack. You can't prove anyone actually murdered him, you just saw somebody poke him.
